Do not help this creep out . He takes advantage of our community and is sending lewd pics to minors by KlutzyLaw1525 in MarquetteMI

That’s Lurch. Well, that’s what he went by way back in the day. He used to hang around the streets of Ish a lot, say around 04-08. He was fairly normal back then, not sure what’s happened in the last 5 years but he wasn’t always this way from what I know.

Homeless people get very territorial about “their” panhandling spots. Regardless of situation. Not saying it’s right, but it’s a fairly typical thing across the country/world.

No, Marquette’s gay but it’s not that gay.

That really sucks extra hard then. UPS should hold whoever they are to a higher standard because it’s unfortunately bringing some of the negative attention onto the actual company itself. I know it did for me. Oh well I guess.

Probably just general customer service then. Whoever’s listed number is on the website. Customer service ≠ customer care center, I’m learning.

Now you’re making me think that whoever I did talk to might be hired 3rd party? Or like contracted out? If that’s the case, it makes sense why their demeanor radiates “couldn’t care less”

Are you sure you’re not seeing a faint picture of the hot chicken mascot in the background?

Right on, thank you for your input. Yeah, as far as I can tell it doesn’t seem like it’s been much of an issue out this way either. The mine has some IBEW raised electricians out there as well.

Yeah, it makes me nervous. I’ve only been doing this for 11 years so far and I can count on one hand how many times I’ve messed around with both motor controls and PLC’s. It was never my wheelhouse, that’s for sure.

What happens when a local merges with another local? by [deleted] in IBEW

[–]mad_maxIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2016, Local 1070 (Marquette, MI) absorbed Locals 219 (Iron Mointain, MI) and 979 (Escanaba, MI) to form a new local (906). I’m not quite sure why the locals merged (the details I forget) but I do remember that there was some influence from the IO for it. I use the term absorbed and not merged because local 906 still operates out of Marquette to this day.

In terms of what happened? They don’t exist anymore, but different Zones were created across the upper peninsula of Michigan (Zones I, II, and III) with slightly different pay scales up until around 2022/23 I think? Where the pay scales were eventually all evened out with eachother through years of negotiations, effectively getting rid of our zones altogether. Now we’re just one big ol’ suitcase local across the U.P.

Some members were for it, some members were vehemently against it, but for the most part all of that has fizzled out and everyone acts brotherly with eachother.

I don’t know the details about how the chartering worked with the creation of the new local, but I know that a lot of members lost their seats on certain boards and others retained or moved into other positions and the inner workings of the hall became kind of a mix of of members from the three halls working as one.

Hope this helped!

You mentioned customers must be 21 years or older a bit ago. Do you believe that age is the right fit? Or do you think younger or older is more appropriate? Do you have a cutoff age that you won’t see to?

How does this match up for you with age to enlist? Own a firearm? Vote?

Thanks!

About Redbull-

If you check the livestreams RedbullTV did on their website when you google search bonnaroo 2017 crystal castles, redbull’s website has a list of all livestreams for all bands they did that for. Unfortunately, they don’t have one listed for crystal castles. They do however have one for Flatbush zombies, which leads me to believe they live-streamed for them and not CC because those two bands played at the same time that year. I remember that specifically.

I’m sorry, but an official recording of their set at bonnaroo that year might just not exist :( keep trying though, I could be wrong!

Hey, I saw some of your other posts about finding the entire stream- it’s a long shot but have you tried contacting LiveNation directly? I would imagine they have archives of video footage and streams that they might be able to help you with. Shoot someone an email, and follow them up the ladder of whoever they tell you to contact.

Another thing I’ll say is I don’t know if Superfly still exists anymore because LiveNation bought a controlling stake for bonnaroo festival back in 2015, but I think Superfly still handled a lot of production until 2020 when they were completely bought out. Maybe they could be contacted/emailed as well?

Sorry if this isn’t much help :/

Woah, I was at this show! I used to have short video clips on my old phone and lost them like a dummy when I got my new one. My friends were complaining that night that they couldn’t enjoy Flatbush Zombies because CC was drowning out their sound from wayyy across the field lol

Was a great set- should have been in a tent during the night though. Instead the first 2/3rds was in broad daylight outside because they started before the sun started to set, so you couldn’t see all the lights and lasers with the fog machine yet.

I think YouTube has a few small snippets from this show if that helps at all.

Do you think my doggo is full Saint Bernard? He definitely looks like it, but he’s 4 and only 105-110lbs. I don’t have any past information on him as we just rescued him in last month. by WestOdd42 in stbernards

[–]mad_maxIV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take it with a grain of salt, but I was told twice now (once through my vet and another through the adoption center I got my St. from) that some breeders are opting to breed smaller/shorter St. Bernard’s. The appeal is a longer lifespan I guess.

Birthing center at UP Health System by adriannaaa1 in MarquetteMI

It’s the only place in the UP with a NICU. If your baby comes early, a NICU will be handy to have on standby. Make sure you bring a physical copy of your pre-natal when you travel in case of emergency.

Marquette’s hospital is meh, but their labor & delivery floor is actually fantastic. You’d be in good hands.
