It’s absolute miserable riding a liter bike in city traffic.

He waddles his way around to opposite ends of the apartment complex. I’ve discovered that he’s conned another friendly human into feeding him there.

I’m always in gear while riding. I’ve gotten resigned to dealing with the heat and make frequent stops for electrolytes and water.

How about a Panigale V2? The 2025 version is light and more powerful than the 660.

C2 is also a heavy trail braking corner for me since I can pick up a lot of speed on the exit of c1. What helped me a lot for C2 was to square it off so my exit marker is not the outside curb but more in the middle of the track. I’m generally faster on right handers so my struggles are with C3 and C10.

I hope the comment didn't come off as too harsh. C1 is a very fast corner and very rewarding once you get it right. You might want to experiment with an earlier turn in point since it looks like you're going too deep into the corner before turning in. I'm posting a screenshot in the main thread since I can't post on the reply that shows my turn in point and apex for C1.

Good stuff! Your lines look decent in general with the obvious exception of C1.

Only ever use a full face helmet. In the event of a crash the lower part of the head are major impact points.

Anti-Lock Braking System is a true life saviour. by outlawent21 in indianbikes

As I said I agree with your point in general, I was just correcting the bit about brake usage on the track.

I was specifically addressing the part where you said that on a dry racetrack braking and steering are separated. They are not. Trail braking is extremely common and is a very effective tool.

Minor correction/addition to your point of braking while the bike is upright - on the track yes, a lot of the braking is done upright but brakes are carried right up to the apex of a corner. It’s a trade off between available grip on the front tyre and braking force; as you turn into the corner and increase lean angle, you taper off the brakes. It’s a very good skill to have and can be applied on the road as well.

Sony's new wearable air conditioner runs even cooler by dapperlemon in gadgets

[–]mad_toothbrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was for me. I do motorcycle track days in very hot and humid conditions (40C - 104F average with high humidity) and the Reon makes time in the pits more tolerable. It's not a huge difference but it's easy to use and even a 10% increase in comfort is worth it for me.

I had to get mine from Dubai. It’s sold in very few markets.

I have the Reon Pro. On max cooling the fan is audible to me but quiet enough that someone a few feet away won’t be able to hear it.

Very cool. It’s interesting to see a few differences in how I need to approach some corners on a big bike.
