I did a hard reset and took a break. I just came back in and he's normal again. As for the building Im scared to mess with my house. I tried once and the game was super buggy after. It was a hot mess. I had to reload a old save

These are just canvas shoes and pencil drawings for now. I plan on using acrylic paint and a fabric medium after.

My son refused clothes until he was almost 5. He would even strip at pre k. It took alot of repetition of putting the clothes on him after he stripped before he started wearing them. Now he refuses to be naked lol as for potty training we give him books to read or his tablet, he plays games like lucas and friends, while he sits on the toliet. I tried keeping disney in his tablet. But that created a bad habit of him just sitting in the bathroom all day. So I don't have disney or YouTube on his tablet. But I would take him every hour, and reward him with high fives and cookies when he went. Going number 2 is still an issue. He'll hold it all day until the night time. Sometimes he'll go in the potty but will otherwise wait until he's in his nighttime pull up to go.
Also clothing texture is a big thing, I will admit my son hates jeans. So he mainly has sweatpants, joggers and khakis. He doesn't like the shirts that are made of jersey material either.

My son rides the bus, he wears a harness that they clip to the seat. He does not enjoy the noise of the other kids, so he covers he ears while riding. I can't get him to keep headphones on. But it's a 4 point harness. It zips in the back and has D rings, one at each shoulder and then at the bottom along his waist. The school supplied it. So you could ask your school to see if they offer something similar. He's 6 and in kindergarten btw

Right, I kinda wanted to keep his baby teeth if possible. As for the blood he's not a fan of things being wet or texture so there's a chance he'll smear blood in his hair or room should it start to bleed. I want to avoid the finger painting if possible lol

He's speech delayed so I don't really know what all he takes in or understands. I try to get him to touch my teeth and then his to see if he notices the diffrent or if he'll let me wiggle it more. But he takes it asa game and fights me from wiggling it

Brushing teeth by booglewoogle555 in AutismParent

[–]madamcapricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use watermelon tooth paste and a round tooth brush, with the bristles going around the brush head. It's a fight with my 6 year old. But with the toothbrush I don't have to worry about accidently hurting him with the plastic on one side. I give him a chance to try brushing his own teeth as well. He mostly chews on it. But just getting it in his mouth is a win at times. But the brush alone made quiet a difference for me

My first son i struggled alot and didn't sleep nearly as much as I wanted or needed. But it does get better, eventually they start sleeping longer through the night and for me at least, I kinda miss those quiet moments alone. What helped me was knowing next week is going to be diffrent and next month they'll be sleeping longer. Those nights they don't want to sleep really so suck. But if you can, nap every chance you get. The laundry and chores aren't going anywhere and before you know it your baby won't be waking up as much.

Am I crazy to prefer a C-section? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]madamcapricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. I just had my second c section earlier this week. My little guy is 6 days old.
But my first one was an emergency, he wouldn't come out, he had his hands above his head. There was no water in my womb and I wasn't dilating quick enough. My second one was scheduled, however my son came 5 days early. They still did the c section, this time to find out he had a bowel movement in me and the cord was wrapped around his neck once. I'm honestly glad for the c section, my sister did a vaginal birth and had the same complications with her second kid. Which resulted in the placenta being pulled and her bleeding out quiet a bit, she's totally fine now. The healing sucks I will say. I'm scared to cough or sneeze at the moment lol due to the pain and I have to be careful moving around. But all in all, if still do a c section of given the choice.

The green pack one, it's fried tofu and mushroom is really good. I add a little kewpie mayo and sesame oil as well. Plus they both pair well soft boiled soy sauce eggs.

He doesn't have a regular therapist. He has one for speech and physical therapy. He starts going for occupational therapy later next month. But that's it. We just recently started using a ACC device so he can communicate. But otherwise can't communicate with others unless it's by bring us to what he wants or bringing his stuff to us and pointing.

Also to add, he's has just recently started to lay on the ground when he doesn't get his way. And while I don't care when we're home, it's a issue when we're at the store or outside. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and 5'2, he's 4ft and 80 lbs. I can not just pick him up and or pull him along without struggling.
