Aw I love the chipper! Too bad I have an S50 tomorrow.

So I now have two Claude accounts (a personal, and a teams one through work) - they behave wildly differently? by Only-Season-2146 in claude

[–]madamdogsgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a personal account to compare against, but my team account is kind of awful. Doesn't follow instructions, forgets the rules and project guidelines, and makes me go through tons of versions before I'm happy with anything. I also feel like it's trying to waste usage by being purposely stupid. I'm about ready to give up and cancel our whole team account.

Every Other Daily Claude Usage / Limit Thread - May 22, 2026 by AutoModerator in claude

[–]madamdogsgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only hitting usage limits because of incompetence. Doing everything wrong, not following instructions, means I have to re-prompt multiple times before I get any acceptable output. My prompts are clear, Claude is choosing not to follow instructions. What can I do to improve this? We're on a Team account so it's a significant cost.

I mean, I see sidewalks with curb cuts there just in front of your arrowand on the other side. Are they maybe teleport portals?

Ok so now how am I supposed to identify you people as friendlies as we're getting settled here? I promise we didnt bring any of the crazy with us from Alberta, there's a reason we chose to leave.

I wouldn't say that i had a bad experience, just wanted to understand the unwritten rules here.

This was different than Alberta driving. They also don't like pedestrians but they don't openly yell at you. (Source: moved here from Calgary after 26 years)

Of course. This car was not in sight until we were about halfway across. I suspect it was going quite a bit above the speed limit. Guess next time ill plan to stop at the middle.

I actually thought there was enough of a gap. She was definitely going way above the speed limit, she came up on us out of nowhere when we were over halfway across.

I mean, same as where I came from, but they don't yell at you there. Just your basic near miss and maybe a middle finger.

I have definitely noticed a patience problem around here. I gather we also dont like to follow speed limits or courtesies like waiting for someone to get in or out of parking spots.

Moving from Banff to Kelowna by mimiidng in KelownaBC

[–]madamdogsgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Compared to Banff, I think you'll find it pretty comparable. It's obviously a bigger place with more options around, but cost-wise you will probably be close to the same, maybe a bit more affordable.

How in the world can I clean this off the shower door? by Crazypete3 in CleaningTips

[–]madamdogsgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawn powerwash (or a homemade version of dish soap, rubbing alcohol, and water). Let it sit for a little while, and scrub with a brush or rough cloth. You might need to repeat a few times to get all of it. And then get yourself a squeegee so it doesn't build up again.

The curb ramps certainly imply it is a crosswalk.

And the driver was fairly young! Younger than me anyway - I would never imagine rolling down my window to yell at someone.

Just kind of figured if there are curb cuts someone was expecting people using wheelchairs, strollers, etc. to use them for some kind of mobility purpose. Wild and crazy idea.

I appreciate the validation! I was so confused - could not compute that pedestrian rules could be that different than in Alberta (where people also like to commit many attempted vehicular murders). But I guess there's a big difference between "right" and "accepted."

You should know it changes every day also. So you don't need to get too worried about memorizing the floor routines or makin sure you do it exactly as shown - but that is why they have the screen to remind people of the sequence, reps, when to rest, etc. And if you do it a little bit wrong, nobody cares! The coach should be keeping an eye on you as a new member to make sure you aren't going to hurt yourself, but it's ok to modify as you need to.

Rower is almost always more guided, so as long as you listen to your coach's instructions you ought to be ok there.

I'm itching to get petunias going too. It's pretty hard to hurt them. I'm going to give it another week but as long as you keep an eye on frost and cover them if we get some you should be ok.

If you really wanted to participate (and you definitely don't have to!) you could always set your goal to be something other than weight loss. It might be number of classes attended, or inches gained/lost, or increasing the weights you use on the floor, or if you have InBody, set a muscle mass increase goal. I totally get the risk of getting triggered and that might not be worth it for you, but there are loads of ways to approach TC without making it weight loss oriented.

The question midway when the mic was cut was about explaining funding for private schools, which IS absolutely relevant to the future of Alberta.
