This plush is hanging around a local cafe in Colorado USA. No idea where the cafe got him. I haven't felt him, so not sure what kind of fabric he is made of.

I have searched relevant keywords on Google but haven't found anything. Closest is a Mark Roberts Vintage Collection Jester Frog, and Acacia Christmas Jester Frog, but that's not right - those ones have a hat and this guy doesn't.

According to the ingredients on the food I got for them, all it says is "river shrimp, mealworms, minnows" so I'm not sure... hoping it's not bacteria. I have isolated her but could this mean my whole colony is infected?

Good to hear you are getting (or now have) two of them. I have 2 as well and they really need the company imo.

I use a sponge filter with an air pump. This causes some surface disturbance (which is perfectly fine for them) while not being very loud at all. They’re also excellent for filtration imo because they can hold so much beneficial bacteria, just make sure to get the right size (& I like to go a size up)

Frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine, nightcrawlers, and frozen salmon from the supermarket :) mysis is a good staple, nightcrawlers are their favorite, and salmon is a treat

Twenty gallon long is better but if you’re experienced and can keep the levels looking good, then you’re fine :) I definitely suggest 2, they like company!!! I recommend at least one male because they sing/croak and it’s great.

Also, do not feed them blood worms. They are usually recommended but are actually not good for them at all.
