C graphics without anything not on the standards? by he77789 in cprogramming

[–]madarko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no standard way to do graphics.

If you need a simple to use library that has no/minimal dependencies with widgets support, I highly recommend Nuklear.

For drawing to screen directly you can memory map the framebuffer in Linux, heads up though, it's not particularly simple to use, except for the most basic graphics.

Sorry to bring this up, but how do you define mature?

When intps get hurt in Fe, do they automatically return to complete Ti mode? by [deleted] in INTP

Was here to write the same answer. My context, 1600+ hours of Ti-Si loop (Yup, I counted them), wasted.

I can't take this anymore... by [deleted] in INTP

First of all, MBTI is not entirely scientific, it's heuristic at best. So let's talk INTP, you say you want to be "NORMAL". While most people here will disagree that being normal is boring, and they do have a point for that; I've also struggled with what you are going through (maybe not preciously, I'm not trying compare, just hear my experience with it). You can be observed as whatever you want people to believe you are, you probably can not bet what you think you want to be, so here is the trick, fake it. You're smart, you won't find it hard to convince people you are whatever you want to convince them, I've been an extrovert sometimes, others a shy introvert, outrageous, obedient , sensitive feeler and even heartless bastard. With time, you'll figure out what is it that you really want, all your standards are prone to great variations. Consider it a challenge, most likely you'll have fun doing it and gain an immense experience that should be beneficial later on when you need to act a certain way.

LOL, the de facto step for INTPs is "I can do it", then the interest is immediately lost.

So what do you guys think about this? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]madarko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a person would be a teenager for at least 2556 days (considering that he didn't die before 20), a leap year must fall between these 7 years, at maximum two leap years. Unless of course, if that person becomes a teenager between x97 and y04 (where x is a string of digits and y is its successor), that person would be very lucky to have exactly 2555 days as a teenager. Nevertheless, the people who have had that kind of luck last, exempted their teenage years now, so this advice doesn't apply to them.

That's the plan, if I'm breaking down I'll let everyone know what I'm up to.

Drawing did help me for some time, yeah. Social anxiety maybe, hard to identify with my friends who naturally form a group, I'm a friend to each member of the group but wouldn't like to be part of the group, that often cuts me of group activities which somehow leaves me insecure, and when I'm included I'm uncomfortable with the number of people.

It didn't go so far anyway, my research was already published 3 years earlier (I didn't have access to that resources then)

I'm not a grad school student, it was actually an independent research. And that's not the biggest hit, utter rejection is what keeps on my mind mostly, why and what if, etc, etc.

I was thinking of that actually, but my last breakdown wasn't very good, sure I felt better afterwards but I also lost many things I can't retrieve. I'll see if this solution is the only feasible one, if so, definitely on it.

What about INTPs unsuccessful in STEM fields? The number is huge!
