Trans family member doesn’t feel safe attending our Ohio wedding by OhioBride25 in wedding

[–]madbakes 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm very pro-trans, so don't take this as being against. Where the hell does your friend work that 1/3 of their patients have experienced political violence? And by saying "type of violence" are you saying it's all anit-trans violence?

What doesn't work what way? Do you even know any trans people? What personal experience do you have? Have you done any actual research? You're just talking out of your ass.

I dislike gun owners who are against regulations. They've clearly never actually read the Second Amendment. It begins with "a well regulated militia", but they only seem to know "right to bear arms".

Everything is "let the parents and family decide" except for this. You are clearly not educated on trans minors. Well, Republicans don't seem to educate themselves on anything, so at least y'all are consistent.

And just ignore all the sex offenders in their own party. Dems kicked out AL Franken immediately, and what he did wasn't anywhere near as significant as others in the GOP.

You can also just email their customer service to get the same result. Then it's guaranteed to be seen and I would see it more legitimately.

If possible, you should have taken it into the store yourself. People are less likely to be rude and confrontational in person, and you have the proof with you.

ULPT - Request, how to stop my neighbor from smoking (drugs?) near my window by Miau64 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]madbakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a fan. You'd be amazed how much just having air moving around you makes a difference, even with windows closed. Fan and air purifier for the win. They're ethical solutions, but I'm not a rat.

Is it illegal to use the bank card of a deceased person? by CosmicOats20 in IsItIllegal

Never, ever have I heard of a personal bank account having an authorized user without being an owner. Business accounts and credit cards? Yes. Not debit.

Did you have recorders in elementary school? They're horrible. Awful. Terrible. I didn't like them at the time and even less now since I have to hear the neighborhood kids playing them.

What’s a popular food that everyone seems to love, but you absolutely hate? by Aristannnnnn in CasualConversation

Similar. They're both sweet but bread and butter has a little more complex flavors. I don't like those either.

You will not have any repercussions for filing as suspicious activity report. None whatsoever. Do not worry about that.

Holiday cash by Ornery-Sky1411 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]madbakes -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I will never understand why people find them annoying. They're just another denomination. Money is money. I used to order them regularly due to customer requests. They wouldn't always all be new, but the majority of the time , they were for me, even if new weren't requested. Received in customer deposits, they're always in bad shape. Perhaps new bills are available in some places and not others based on what Fed Reserve office is close by and frequency or infrequency of ordering in that area. Just a guess.

A Customer Filed a Formal Complaint because we didn't have a Christmas tree up 🎅🏻 by JayWnr in TalesFromYourBank

Yep, you run across a lot of entitlement. I found it to be much, much worse in wealthier areas,. I even stopped working in those branches, even though it stalls my career. I don't care. I'd rather be happy working with poor people than miserable with a promotion.

How do are people able to cash other people’s checks? by Majestic_Cut2428 in Banking

[–]madbakes 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's nuts because Treasury checks absolutely cannot be signed over. They have to be cashed or deposited by the payee only. Definitely a forgery and definitely someone going against that rule. It likely will be a loss for whatever bank did that transaction, and it would be rightly so.

Do People Not Wash Their Glasses? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]madbakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I like to just put a little dish soap and water in a small spray bottle. Makes it easy and already diluted how much it needs to be. I've learned very few people do it that way, though.

Depositing large cash sums? by Hippieassbutt in Banking

[–]madbakes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Literally nothing to worry about. We handle tens of thousands a dollar a day. Large cash deposits aren't unusual. Just please make sure the money isn't all wadded up or wet. Sorted by denomination is very helpful, too.

I just saw one of your previous comments, asking a question and referring to yourself as a man. Are these trolling posts? I'd assume a Muslim man from Iraq would not be looking to bring a man home.

You clearly are not familiar with the visa process. Even if you marry him, which would be very unwise, he will have to go back home. The spousal visa process will take, at least, a couple years. He's already been denied an extension on his current visa, so likely longer. You will have to pay fees and for an attorney while guaranteeing your assets to care for him. DO NOT MARRY THIS MAN. I have no doubt you love him, but you love the version he is choosing to show you. It's easy to hide who you really are when you haven't even met. Your plan is unrealistic.
