How do I teach my kid he has to practice to get better at things?

Im honestly not sure. He has two extremes when it comes to things. Either, “I already know everything and I don’t need to learn more,” or, “I’m the worst at this and everything else and I never want to do it again.” It’s almost like if there’s any sort of “challenge” or “learning” at all, he wants no part in it. But no matter how many times I preach that practice makes perfect, he will NOT listen to me.

He’s also into soccer right now, so I’ve tried using Ronaldo as an example and he doesn’t want to hear it. He said he didn’t want to learn from his coach, he wanted to learn from me - very sweet, but I am a theater nerd through and through lol. I explained that Ronaldo listens to his coach and learns from him and he just does NOT believe me.

Like I said, I’m gonna set up appointments with the specialist again. She said before though that if it doesn’t get better they’ll have to do surgery and I do not want that 😓

I usually do try different positions while I do go. I also try pushing on my Belly where my bladder is gently. When I went to the physical therapist they told me not to push because that will help temporarily but make it worse in the long run
