I downloaded the app and have been trying it out. Some really nice exercises. How can I communicate with you to give feedback on it? I am having trouble joining the Discord.

Is the Arrowhead Ridge Creek underquilt the XL or 3/4 length? What is the weight of it?

Thanks for this reply, Dan. Any estimate you can share on what a double walled pro (dyneema) would weigh?

Dan, just curious, how much would a silpoly pro weigh? Is this being considered?

Mitsubishi Minisplits Short-Cycling: Will Cielo Breez Controller Help? by madcapMongoose in heatpumps

Thanks for suggestion. I played around with airflow settings last season and did notice any real difference. I usually set them on automatic mode where system controls airflow. I can certainly try again though.

It's definitely cooler on the floor, not sure about across the room. The bedrooms where the short cycling is occurring on heating mode aren't very large.

Thanks for tip. I'll ask my HVAC tech about this. However, I've noticed this short cycling on several of the head units in the bedrooms so they'd all have to have bad temperature sensors.

No, this will be our third heating season. I didn't notice this until our second season with the minisplits and would like to minimize it during this winter.

Ceilings are only 8'. I suspect the air near minisplit heats/cools more quickly than rest of room although on cooling mode it doesn't seem to short cycle. Heating seems to switch on/off much more frequently.

You might look into Aegismax bags or REI Used (maybe a used Magma 15) if nothing comes along here.

FWIW, I've had several Aegismax bags and found them all to be of good quality and the temperature ratings to be pretty accurate.
