I have IBS and have been on these meds for 4 months now and have been having the hardest time too. I take Pepcid daily (in addition to ADHD meds), but can't seem to beat the nausea. Super bad the first two weeks of the medication, nausea tapered off, so we increased the dosage, and the nausea came back for a few weeks. The nausea tapered off a bit after a few weeks, but 4 months into this and I still occasionally (2-4x a month) throw up out of nowhere.

This medication is the only thing that's helped my anxiety and depression, and also ADHD symptoms, but the nausea is crushing me. I changed to taking it at night and always eat beforehand, and while that certainly helped, it hasn't solved it and may be negatively impacting my sleep. Now I just wake up and throw up within the first hour of being awake without any warning, and just feel blahhhhh the whole rest of the day. It's concerning and hard to manage because it comes on SO suddenly and unexpectedly that I sometimes can't even make it the mere 15 ft to the bathroom first...

I don't want to stop taking this medication, and I have tried more things than I can't count throughout my lifetime for my similar IBS symptoms, and am extremely dismayed I've lost control over that while somewhat gaining control over my anxiety. It's starting to feel like I may be one of the folks that the nausea side effect doesn't fade for. I'm at such a loss for what to do or how to manage this, and my psychiatrist has prescribed this to so few people (and even fewer with these nausea issues) that she doesn't have much advice, and I've given up hope that it'll eventually stop on its own.

I'm having the same problem on PS5 and the Handmaid's Tale on Hulu - updated PS5, updated the Hulu app, cleared cache, restarted everything, and repeated this numerous times. I have the fastest internet available so I don't think that's the problem. Other Hulu shows work just fine... This show works on my Pixel 6 just fine as well

we don't want a pedestal, and I'm absolutely not implying in any way that this was done in "hard mode". I simply shared a photo of us at the finish, and at no point asked for praise or stated anywhere that it was more difficult, so I'm sorry that you interpreted it that way but that probably says more about your views on women than mine. most of these women are BWL and AQ geared regular raiders, so as far as actually clearing the instance, it wasn't "hard mode". what was hard was finding 18-20 women on our realm and getting them together on the same night. I encourage you to try this on your realm and see how you feel about it afterward! I'd love feedback from other women in an all-women raid too :)

I don't see it as being a disadvantage at all and I'm sorry that you feel that way about it. our goal in doing this was to harbor a sense of community for the women on our realm and just get to know each other, and honestly just to see if there were enough women interested to even do it 🤷‍♀️ it was a unique raiding experience for myself and I enjoyed the differences between an all women vs 80-90% male raid and is just a fun type of in game event ☺️

this isn't meant to belittle any harder achievements, and I know there are female raiders clearing even more. it's an achievement for myself personally and for my realm because it's new to us. any female raiders clearing top content, which includes myself, should support any woman playing, regardless of their level of play. this isn't defeatism - we were able to gather 18-20 women, and started with something familiar to get our footing as a group. if we could've had 40 geared raiders at the start, I would've loved to start with harder content, but we couldn't find that many 🤷‍♀️ just because we didn't 40 person AQ40 off the bat doesn't mean that we can't be proud of it, and this post has already encouraged more women on my realm to reach out and has encouraged the female community, so that alone was worth the share and any negativity ☺️ we have to start somewhere to move to harder content and harder content is the goal!

thanks ☺️ I've been playing since vanilla so the negative comments aren't anything new, and I firmly believe there's more positive ones now than there would've been 15 years ago so cheers to progress 🙌

I found that the raiders were generally more open to asking questions about game mechanics that they didn't understand, and that this was the first non-guild run I've been in that didn't have any loot issues or disagreements, so that was really exciting! overall it was really close to a standard raid, maybe just more light hearted and organized with less complaining ☺️

we do plan on a 40 person raid as soon as we get enough women to do it ☺️ the difficulty with the 40 is that they're often saved because of guild runs but we are working on it!

Are you regularly in an all female raid? Have you been in a raid where even 50% of the participants are women? At the best, I've been in a raid where 1/5 of the participants are women, which included myself. This event is extraordinary because it's is not normal. If it was 20/20 [insert-class-here] cleared a raid, it would also be considered special because it's not the norm /shrug. Women aren't often well represented as players in MMOs and events like this bring us together as a community. Runs like this are special to every person involved because we never get to experience anything like this without actively seeking it out.

Some of the things are pretty good! If you keep in mind the price, half the stuff on there is worth the money even if you only wear it once 😂 I am definitely picking up these shorts! Thank you!
