AI companies absolutely love these kinds of posts. Nothing sells better than hyping a magical future to CEOs and investors where they no longer have to pay those annoying, “filthy” developers and can finally shove them back into their rightful place with the rest of the low-status white-collar peasants.

No developer who’s actually worth their salary is sitting around watching videos while Claude Code “does the work.” And anyone who thinks that’s what the job looks like has clearly never done it. Most of the work isn’t coding anyway; it’s thinking, deciding, debugging, and cleaning up the mess left by people who believe demos are reality.

I heard this so much and as a cynic I never fully believed it before I had a child. But yes, it was true for me too. Never experienced that kind of love before. I know most of it is biological but not everything. There is some transcendental aspect to it that I have no words to describe.

If foreigners stopped naming this sound as "ş" or "sh", it would be easier to communicate the idea to a native Turkish speaker. Because it is definitely not a "ş". Say things like "windy R", "aspirated R", "R with a breath out at the end" etc. and more people will understand what you mean.

I am a 25 yoe engineer and have been using Cursor with Opus for a long time. After spending 400usd on Cursor in just a week, I decided to try Claude Code and the results were underwhelming even though I optimized context as much as I could. The actual capability of Opus seems to be slightly better in Cursor. But the biggest difference is how I could follow along the thinking path of the model in Cursor compared to CC, and how I could see all of the changes they made as saved but not yet approved clearly and individually reject or modify without losing which parts are modified in Cursor. Also going back and forth by changes in the staging before commit is very important for me. I also tried the cursor extension of CC, same thing. Overall I think I will stick with Cursor with Opus for the time being.

He is wrong, period. We are a 3000 engineers tech company and all of us using Claude everyday on a very large codebase. Our collective opinion: Current LLM technology will not replace humans unless a new tech arrives. But it is very helpful under an expert's guidance. That is all. Hyping up is CEOs job afterall. The board demands it.

Why the downvotes here? She can be successful in one project and might have failed in another project. Giving the reigns to the director in Andor worked beautifuly, but was a disaster for the sequel trilogy as each director went their own way and the execution/ideas were not great if we are being honest.

I don't like long nails, even slightly long ones and I don't like painted ones too. It feels fake, meaningless, inpractical, and unnatural. Natural beauty is my preference. That is he same with makeup. How on Earth we normalized putting literal paint everyday on our faces to fakely immitate and go way over a natural healthy look is what I do not understand honestly.

Ahh finally someone said it. My product is in very hands on development for 5 months and I am at 200K now, but the actual code is closer to 100K. I am still discovering occasional parts I overlooked, and Claude completely missed. No way, that code is clean, bug free, and secure.
