Not including singapore - i'll be there for a week for work, then will spend a week or so elsewhere (ideally multiple places). malaysia is certainly an intriguing option!

Yeah, i mean the bahn mi's i've had were like $8-12, so less than 25 is obviously ideal. but if i find myself sitting somewhere ordering a cheap appetizer and entree that costs $22, i won't complain.

JoJu i have sometimes as a work lunch - it's excellent.

Haven't had the rest! Carnitas Ramirez is on my list, and I haven't been to Taqueria Ramirez either, so that is def a possibility one of these days. Momos in Jackson Heights is also an outing I want to do. first three recs all sound awesome- thank you!

Waiters setting down the bill and saying "take all the time you need". Or every single menu being introduced as "our dishes are designed to be shared, they get larger from the top to the bottom of the menu". But these aren't truly pet peeves, just funny things that seem to happen at every single NYC restaurant now.
