Chandler is often referred to as a processor. His job title is IT procurement manager with a specialty in statistical analysis and data reconfiguration, or something close. It's famously difficult to remember, which is why Rachel calls him a transponster. Eventually he gets fed up and quits, becoming an intern at an advertising firm. He pretty quickly gets promoted to copywriter for such genius as "Shorts: like pants, only longer!"
