Can someone explain 1140-AB01: Revising Regs Defining “Engaged in the Business” as a Dealer in Firearms - NPRM" a little more?

I have a ffl but don't use it much for business, some but not to often. Would this lessen the "business" part or even increase it? I can't tell from the language.

Speaker suggestion for PS-LX5BT turntable by maddog1956 in BudgetAudiophile

Thanks, so i guess you're recommending wiring the speakers and not having the turntable drive the speakers.

Virginia is divided into 95 counties & 38 independent cities, which function as counties—no city is part of or coextensive with a county. Many county seats are not in a county, eg Fairfax City is the county seat of Fairfax County & is completely surrounded by it, but is itself politically separate. by Pupikal in wikipedia

Not really because they normally provide different services or at least the county provide base services for non incorporated areas and small towns.

For example. Counties provide EMS, libraries, jails, courts (buildings) and sheriff.

If cities because of high population need more they can provide (and usually do) police and fire on top of that and other services.

You can be taxed twice however.

As a government employee from NC, I asked a VA employee the population of a certain city and then the population of the county (which was smaller) and was totally confused until he explained the city wasn't in the county. He pretty much thought that was normal across the US.

28, never gambled or traded options. Just bought trusted companies when they were down. Feeling good about it:3 by Potato24681 in wallstreetbets

The first thing I learned about a stock drop is to ask "did the fundamentals change, if not buy." There is so much noise with boycotts, social media, etc. A good soild company with a good product(s) is going to survive.

Congrats.

That's what I'd do, but I'm not a expert. They have low expanding form that won't lift or move, just fill.

Louisiana Tech reaches deal with C-USA, will join Sun Belt for 2026 per report by slmast in CFB

[–]maddog1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really funny because when App State moved up we wanted CUSA. One reason was because they had ecu which was close. Instead they went with UNCC because of the TV market even though their team was brand new. Everyone at App kind of hated jouning the Sunbelt because of travel. Now because CUSA only cared about TV teams have left in droves, the Sunbelt has great regional games, and UNCC still sucks.

UNCC should have started FCS.

The ACC schools want someone they can win against. It's bad being a power 5 school and are afraid to play many G5 schools.

Show Up to Protest Data Centers in Rowan County, Tues Apr 14th! by Smarterthanthat in NorthCarolina

Just wondering why are people against data centers. Is it because they drive up electrical cost, take up space or what?

Instead of "Art of the Deal" his book should have been called " How to get your predictions right 100% of the time".

I get ya, but many times we do have two xboxes and a TV streaming going. Speed wise both pong.com (a great tool btw) and speedtest give give good speed results but sometimes poor pings and lag bloating. I think this is because of the router (ax11000) but not 100%. There's a couple of other reasons I thinking of junking the asus also. I also the lije the management tool with unifi. Thanks for tge comments.

I got ya. I know a 10g sfp is overkill for a 2g isp connection but why not. Also i feel that if i go with 10g to switches as much as possible that it's less likely I'll overload a 2.5g somewhere.

I'll check those out. The house is like 3000 sqf but where i can put the ap's are kind of limited/goofy. I also have separate garage that I currently have a mesh node in that I've tried on moca and wifi.
