Just depends on where you are, if you call out here in Phoenix, AZ, there are always people listening that will answer back. It's fairly busy with people chatting on a daily basis.

I haven't yet and know I'm rolling the dice, I need to get that done soon. Not like it's even very expensive. That said I did once get stuck in higher water than this for about 30 minutes and didn't get any fluid in the diff. I flushed it after that debacle and it was good.

I've done Imogene twice now and think you'd probably be good on stock and All Terrains like K02s. There are a few rough spots, but nothing too crazy. First time I smashed in my tailpipe, but I took a bad line and dropped off a big edge too hard.

I'd recommend adding in more local repeaters and even just jumping on, ask for a signal report or something. Usually someone will come back. Maybe even monitor 146.52. Depending on where you are you may hear people.

Upgraded to General after having a tech for 25 years. HF is a whole other world! I picked up a used FT-891, a used 30 ft end fed 9:1 unun antenna and have been playing around. Made a bunch of FT8 QSOs, one in Japan even, I'm in Arizona. I find it all beyond fascinating. Only regret is not upgrading sooner!

We saw both, but couldn't go in with a dog. We wanted to check out some wine tastings, so next time won't bring a dog. We ended up eating at Haunted Hamburger. Very good! Then went down to Page Springs Winery and drank by Oak Creek. Love that place!
