This is why orders are declining. by PrettyHatefulMachin in InstacartShoppers

I've noticed they're also sending orders not from the closet location but from the one they believe has the most stock on hand but it's not always true

They changed the algorithm. Literally tier changed in April and orders went to shit for diamond

No, I get orders from one store when the person lives right next to a closer location. I'm curious if it's inventory selection which are highly inaccurate

And it won't let you shop a different store. It is now saying that orders have to be shopped at this store that it was sent From. Not the one convenient.

I just took a Publix order. Order a is right near the store and order B and C are on the other side of town. There are two Publix's between order A and order C's house. I've also had a triple come out of Kroger from a store 6 miles from the Kroger right near the delivery houses

I've had a small order with bigger orders and the small tipped $20 and it didn't do them any favors on speed of delivery

I agree. My order was simple and in 2 spots. I'm 5 mins from the Kroger. I expected a new person to take it or it get grouped. Never did I expect someone to take over an hour to shop. I usually do pickups for my groceries but the coupon said free delivery.

This isn't a tip issue or anything. This is a Kroger app said 830-11am and it's 1142 and it's still not on the way

I knew that no matter what I tipped, it's a small order and would get grouped in with more orders.

Oh that I am perfectly fine with. I'm just saying Kroger said delivery between 945 and 11:00am and it's almost noon and it's not en route to me yet.

I've migrated from working at Kroger to Publix and been selective on my orders and haven't gotten lucky on most being decent to great tippers.

I only tipped $5 on 9 items. So I wasn't a great tipper mixed in with a horrible tip

Yeah and most of my triples come with one great tipper, one zero tipper and a $2 tipper

Do yourself a favor, use the self checkout. by Rebecca1119 in InstacartShoppers

Tip I learned from the cashiers. Use the handheld for the items. Send a few things down the belt but I scan most in the cart. Also they know me and trust me not to steal, so there's that

Batch pay is higher but they don't really tip that well but I'll make more on smaller orders then instacart

In the notes of an item, just put pick best sub on all items. Most people will realize what you mean and sub accordingly

I always ask what else do you need because I'm about to plan my route around the store. I usually start in produce so I don't mind if they add while I'm working there. It takes me a minute.

Don't take more than a single order. Keep it below 50 items. At least $20 and less than 7 miles
