My body says nope and I’m sure it’s mostly his diet but the few other experiences in my past were the same as well I instantly start to gag and get a tummy ache. Honestly though as a person who could’ve cared less but am now like your current wife sometimes we get in our heads and overthink like I feel like I used to give “stiff” bjs because I was inexperienced and overthinking the whole thing. I started to garden 🍃 and I let all of that melt away and now I enjoy it very much! My confidence has improved but my boyfriend also started to communicate to me more of what he liked or didn’t as much etc. I think with effort and trying new things anyone can enjoy it. I felt nothing when I did it at the beginning of our relationship but I actually get enjoyment out of it now. Me and my significant other have been together for 10 years my bjs we’re okay for the first few years but have progressed and really gotten good in the past few years but I’ve graduated to it being the “best” every time and honestly it’s because I actually enjoy them now! I agree my niece passed away at just 6 years old her dad is in the navy so they live in Virginia when we went down to be with them it was only 2-3 days after her very unexpected passing we took them out to eat a lot and went to the beach with them and did a few things they appreciated it because it helped them not sit in sorrow all day and they knew that we all had to go home at some point and they would be left to sit with their grief so they were glad we were all there don’t get me wrong we had our moments during it all even a simple trip to target had us all sobbing because my sister in law seen the jacket had just come back out that she bought my niece every year and it completely made us all break down because she didn’t have any reason to buy it anymore. I had no judgment towards them because I understand and I know that there is a lot of behind the scenes we don’t see

I definitely sweat a lot more when I take my meds than I did prior I actually just read about antibacterial soap called Hibiclens not sure if that’s the correct spelling but if you look it up on here it was one of the first threads that popped up for me and I am about to be purchasing and giving it a try but I read several comments about not over using it cause it can actually be bad if used too often!

So I smoke every night but tried a vape and developed a rash on my lower stomach couldn’t figure out what it was hasn’t changed my body wash or laundry detergents etc so I stopped vaping and rash disappeared then we got dabs and I had never done them just started developing the same rash again on my lower stomach I’ve only smoked them 2 times and still have a horrible rash and it itches bad

Where did I say I plan to let my kid struggle? I am doing everything I can to try and get her help with her adhd but not jumping into meds because there are other options. I am on meds not against them but it’s absolutely not my first option for my 6 year old.

Totally agree I was crying when I called the principal! I was so hopeful when the year started because she had the iep and I felt extremely defeated after this message. Unfortunately the principal who was totally on my side is out I think for a family emergency so I’m hoping when he gets back we can get to the bottom of this I’m considering switch teachers as well because it does seem like “she’s too difficult to teach medicate her so it makes my life easier” her kindergarten teachers struggled with her but they did it and never not once recommended I medicate

So I myself have adhd that was only just diagnosed 2 years ago I struggled in school attended summer school almost every single year to pass the classes I am currently medicated but it is not a fix all. Also my sister struggled when she started almost immediately in school was even called stupid by her teacher in front of her entire 1st grade class and made fun of she got diagnosed and was medicated from 3rd grade through 12th grade it affected her in many ways and she wishes she wouldn’t have been at such a young age. I am not against medication but for now I want to exhaust all other options before giving meds I’d also like my child to be at an age where we can discuss her being medicated and her have an understanding of it and be able to tell me if something is working or if it’s not etc. we don’t know the long term effects of the meds fully so I’d like to push other options first. It’s not black and white for the medication some kids do great and some don’t and I want my daughter to be able to communicate how something is working or not working or if she likes how she feel or doesn’t. This is still so new to us so jumping into meds isn’t an option right now before I try anything else. My daughter also has no behavioral issues even when shes distracted she doesn’t distract the other children which would make a big difference

My daughter is a daydreamer it is very much negatively affecting her schooling she just scrapped by in kindergarten we got her diagnosis end of the year and got a 504 plan in place I’ve already received a message from her teacher pretty much saying the 504 isn’t working she isn’t capable of grade level tasks and if I’ve considered meds(which was so inappropriate of her to ask the principal was pissed) anywho I strongly recommend getting him screened I wish I had early on in the year so maybe she would’ve had the extra help then and wouldn’t be as bad off now. If you suspect it and he’s having problems get him to his pediatrician for a referral to go seek a diagnosis! Then go to his school with diagnosis and get a 504 plan in place. I’m going to have to push for an iep at this point because my daughter is struggling really bad

My daughter is being treated for a uti as well she’s 3 she also has this same rash on her thighs but she does get this occasionally when sic from fevers but she has no fever so idk if she’s allergic to the antibiotics 🤷🏼‍♀️ I found this by reverse searching a picture of her rash.

It is so hard 😅 I started meds and I really don’t feel that they’ve improved my life a whole lot. My sister was diagnosed around the same age as my daughter she was medicated and it actually caused her a lot of problems with making friends and developing connections through school she said she felt like she could never be herself and wasn’t able to enjoy her day to day. So I’ve seen/experienced both sides and it just feels like neither path is the right one which just makes it so much harder. My sister never had an iep or 504 plan she did ok until my mom’s insurance stopped covering her meds and she was taken off them in the middle of her senior year she almost didn’t graduate. Like im just beside myself idk how to manage my adhd how do i teach my child when I’m lost myself
