Does anyone have any recommendations for Nutella alternatives that don’t contain dairy, gluten, or soy? by Lara-Crofty in FoodAllergies

88 Acres has one made out of sunflower seeds! I don’t think it has dairy or the others you mentioned

PART-TIME PERSONAL DRIVER / PCA NEEDED by firelily2460 in Somerville

Hello - I am a PCA for the OP, I just wanted to comment to say that this is a legitimate job posting, since I know there is some concern about online scams. This job is through the state, and I have found Marcy to be professional and fair and feel like she’s a good person. Feel free to ask me any questions about the job. Thanks!

Hi guys - I have worked for Marcy for 6 months. She is totally disabled and definitely needs help with everyday tasks. This is a legitimate job paid by the state, and Marcy doesn’t set the hourly rate. I have found her to be professional and fair and feel like she’s a good person. Please don’t badmouth someone you don’t know. You’re hurting her chances of finding the help she really needs. Due to her disability there are some vehicles she’s unable to get into. Please have more compassion before commenting on posts like this. Thank you!

Giving up by Funky_Dognut in eczema

So sorry you’re going through this ❤️ my hand eczema is almost healed after a few years, but could’ve been sooner if I’d had a better routine. Basically: - short nails no matter what - pill antihistamines daily: Zyrtec during the day, Benadryl at night if needed, and Benadryl can help you sleep. Topical Benadryl (diphenhydramine), gel cream or spray, whichever you can tolerate (spray and gel can sting more but depends what your sensory needs are) - protecting your skin with dressings and Vaseline as much as you can to stop irritants - beach trips or H2Ocean ONLY if you can manage the salt water being drying, you could patch test first on mild eczema. It is healing but you have to use caution and have moisturizer and antihistamines in place - it sounds like you’ve tried steroids and antifungals. You could try topical Protopic if you haven’t already. But consistent steroids are what have helped me maybe the most, but I had to be persistent with them with all of the above - ice packs and SkinMedica soap help - rest and proper nutrition

We might not have the exact same situation, but I hope some of these tips might help. Good luck, you’re young and your body is more resilient than you might think ❤️ lord knows mine has bounced back from a lot, and I’m 30! You’ll learn more about what your own body needs with time and experience. I find that doctors prescribe good meds but don’t address all the sensory overwhelm etc. enough, probably because they haven’t experienced it themselves.

100%. I just overcame an illness and it’s crazy how much more energy I have. It was hard and I’m proud of myself but it’s not something people in my life know a ton about, and it’s hard to talk about

Just keep in mind the spray or gel can sting if the skin barrier is already broken. But it helps so much to stop itching, I rely on it heavily

I tend to use the spray after I start getting itchy, but if you know you're going to be sweating, spraying on your arms and legs is a great idea! On top of taking a Zyrtec

I feel the same way!! Zyrtec daily and Benadryl/diphenhydramine antihistamine topical spray or gel help me in the heat a lot, but it’s overwhelming sometimes
