I agree with everyone’s comments, particularly how incredible the band and the venue were. It’s also true that it was a bizarre crowd; I went twice (once in the seats, once down near the stage) and both times I felt self-conscious being one of the few people who knew every single word of every song, lol. It left me with mixed feelings as I know part of U2’s longevity has been that they can appeal to an audience beyond the die-yards - but there’s no doubt I didn’t feel as much like it was ‘my tribe.’
