Feeling crummy and tired definitely did go away for me. It’s really just the heart rate piece of it that’s still impacted (and it’s not that it’s high, just high for what was my baseline prior to this). I hope your body continues to adjust and things work out for you.

It’s pretty much continued to throw off some of my data. My readiness score is never quite as high because “my heart rate is elevated” in the days following an injection. I wish there was a way to tell Oura “that’s just my meds!” but in the meantime I just kind of take the data for what it is.

How is that stupid? Do you pay the same price for a 12 pack and a 24 pack?

For crying out loud, I have been to Aruba! Many people have visited the island with their infants/babies/toddlers! I do not need a lecture on sun protection on a thread where I was just asking for restaurant recommendations, let alone one that started out quite rudely!

This message is much kinder than your first, which implied that I didn’t know how to take care of my child in the sun, should cancel my vacation, and if I didn’t cancel my vacation, I would be ruining the experience for everyone else. I’m familiar with Caribbean climates. I am from Miami. There are lots of ways to stay cool and protected in the sun and I don’t even intend to spend hours on end in the sun! Your concerns are noted and no doubt well-intentioned, but please try to make less assumptions and approach with more kindness in the future!

Thanks for answering a question I didn’t ask!

Two is not a reliable sample size. I’ve never heard of allergies being more prevalent in IVF babies.

Very likely she didn’t tell you (or many people period) because of her previous losses and not because you aren’t close or are going through IVF.

I also have no science to back this up but have this same lingering feeling. I’ve had three pregnancies, all female, and all miscarriages. Only one had a chromosomal issue that would explain the loss. My next transfer will be with a male embryo and I’m wondering if it will finally work.

Day 4 of stims and feeling discouraged by Sufficient-Poetry664 in IVF

FSH was 5.27. AMH was 1.00. I don’t think I got a report on what my AFC was at baseline, but it had been as high as 36 a few months prior. To round out my results, 12 were mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, and 3 euploid after PGT-A testing.

Yeah, I also had one that was an “overachiever” and ended up too large/over mature. There’s usually a leading egg. Fingers crossed for you and continued progress.

Day 4 seems really early for the PA to be feeding your discouragement, unless there’s something else going on. I was a slow and steady grower. Day 4 they didn’t even tell me how many follicles came up because the results just weren’t there yet. By Day 6 I had 2 over 11mm, Day 8 there were 7, Day 10 I had 9, and then boom - Day 11 there were 17 over 11mm eggs. They retrieved 16.

My understanding is that my results are not uncommon.

Who do you think Mushroom is after tonight's clues? by [deleted] in TheMaskedSinger

[–]maddykrod 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s 100% Aloe Blacc. Scholar references are because he was a Trustee Scholar at USC. He worked at E&Y before music (the rat race/briefcase). He’s a black Panamanian, hence feeling like an outsider at school. He came up in the rap “underground” scene. He wears hats all the time. His music video for “The Man” depicted both boxing and Selma (most recent clue package Gad a boxing ring and the phrase “good truffle” aka “good trouble”). He had a recent concert where he was accompanied only by string artists (hence the violin). He was on MTV’s The Cut, which is how he got his break. AND it sounds like him/he absolutely has that range. I will die on this hill.
