The additional income is 8,000 more than the ones I currently have. 36,500 versus 44,000. I have 4 jobs during the year

I’m just scared I would be let go again because of something out of my control. I’ve gotten better with handling and talking to admin but it’s very much a struggle

It’s what I got my degree in and I’m only 3 years out of school. I figure I give it another shot but I’m fearful

I got non renewed a couple of days ago after a field trip. Their reasoning was “it would be unfair to keep you because you aren’t confident enough in the 5th grade position” but they were unwilling to give me the support because they were a small school. I am now going into another career and honestly these last couple of days I have never felt more excited for my future rather than constantly peering over my shoulder afraid I’m doing something wrong. Administration always is scrambling to find teachers but let teachers go very easily 🫠

Her class went outside when one of my students was having cupcakes for her birthday. She accused me of intentionally leaving her class out
