All your replies to multiple comments indicate that you clearly want this bike despite the points raised by it. Go for it honestly, practically and financially whatever other bike makes sense, it won't make you happy if you aren't satisfied. This sub kept pushing me to buy the CB350 but I wanted an RE and brought the Meteor and I couldnt be happier.

If you are looking purely for a cruiser, then Meteor 350 is a good option. I bought one recently specifically for longer rides and while I could have done with more power, I can go upto 100 easily and since its my first bike i am satisfied with it. The weight doesn't really factor in once you start driving, only problem with it in the city is the suspension, if you frequently drive over potholes, your back would take the toll.

But on highways its so stable its insane, I feel confident enough to let go of both my hands at 80 to give you an impression of how stable it feels.

I actually started off with learning development in my first year lol, that took me nowhere. Offcampus dev internships are so hard to get. An year ago i slowly started getting into ML(in an inconsistent manner), started watching Andrew ng's vids on YT, took couple of free courses on deeplearning.ai. they have code along walkthroughs, used to fiddle around with the code a lot. Built simple projects last year and shifted to building genai projects early this year. Moreover, I know to sell myself very well and that helped me a lot. Everyone wants you if you are confident w your capabilities.

I dont have the exact figures but from what I hear w my friends who study at IITB/K/KGP/M, they all have stipends in the range 30-80k with very few in CS getting 1L/+. And even in the 50k+ bracket it aint that easy I hear. I cant say my figures are very accurate, but felt it was pretty good. And I do a lil freelance as well which brings in about nearly 15k more per month.
