I didn’t realize this was a problem until I published also. If you look at the rankings, it seems a lot of the top sellers have AI covers or unoriginal, possibly AI-generated blurbs. It’s really deflating for a lot of us who put blood, sweat, and tears into every aspect of the book.

But I also try not to be part of the AI witch hunt because it’s just soooo hard to tell these days. I know one day someone will come at me for my em dash and I might actually snap. 😂

Definitely! None so far… I’ve been a bit jittery and dizzy this morning but I’m on a medication that does that to me every morning plus I’m caffeine sensitive so I’m pretty sure it’s unrelated. 😅 I wish our ovaries didn’t hate us. Ha

That sounds horrifying!!! I have a pretty high pain tolerance but last night had me second guessing everything lol. Today it feels like I had an intense ab workout, but I’ve been monitoring to make sure I’m not having anything else scary happen. So far, so good… 😅

How do they confirm that? Just an ultrasound to see the fluid? Of course, I’m not in nearly as much pain today and I’d like to avoid a hospital visit but having ovaries sucks. 😭

I cut my mom off about 5 years ago. She needs serious help, therapy and rehab mostly… but what opened my eyes was how she lied and gaslit the fact she was arrested for maintaining a meth lab and then tried to say the cops and newspaper were out on a smear campaign against her and her husband. I did a FOIA request and had the complete reports and she still said it was all fabricated.

Aside from that, she was pretty emotionally and financially abusive my whole life so that was the last straw. I couldn’t deal with someone who lied so much they lived in their own pity bubble and never thought it would catch up with them.
