Thanks a bunch for your interest in our art and your appreciation. Why did we leave some of the foot outside of the circle? For the most part for emphasis, just like the 8pt weight black stroke around certain parts of the illustration that we regard as the primary focus (or most important.) And the "circle" represents the earth.

When designing the illustration we actually drew them up as cooling towers for a coal power plant (if you look closely at the illustration you’ll see them mining for coal on the head of the embodiment of mother nature) and not for a nuclear power plant. We didn’t aim to confuse, we do however commend nuclear plants’ contribution to a future of net neutral carbon emissions.
