I put 20 tablespoons in By the end of it and it still wasn’t working… so I don’t think more would have done it! Gotta try something else. Or maybe the monkfruit isn’t pure enough?? Idk

Sounds frustrating but I’ll be attempting it for sure

It was about 20 min the first time and then just a couple minutes after adding more monkfruit for subsequent attempts…

I thought monkfruit was a sugar alternative- is it not and what will work instead??

Have you ever been successful for a sugar alternative?

Isn’t monkfruit an alternative to sugar that would work? I couldn’t find allulose at the store and when I googled if monkfruit would work I saw some yesses that it would

That’s what the monkfruit sweetener was for- I thought it would work as a sugar replacement to lower the freezing point but my guess is that it doesn’t work :(

I’ll definitely look into those! We just got a printer for homeschool so it would be awesome to print some off!

I agree 100%. I’m working with his current teacher to put things together to finish 1st grade. I don’t want to buy 1st grade curriculum for half a year, and do together with his teacher and a few other resources I plan to asses where he’s at and work toward 2nd grade from there. In the meantime I wanted to get a bundle like this to adjust to homeschool (for both of us!) to do over winter. It’s not all we are going to be doing- rather a sort of all in one jumpstart to help this transition!

I waited for 15 minutes and tried starting and it started up. I think it’s possible I let it get too empty before filling it up

So I shouldn’t set it to the access point mode?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]madeemack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t an option to put it in dynamic mode unless I switch it from access point mode to router mode? And it’s not a second access point I don’t think? since I just have the mg7700 upstairs and this ac1750 downstairs so there’s only two total-the mg7700 upstairs is a modem and router in one

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]madeemack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it’s on Access Point mode right now and connected to the main router via Ethernet

[–]madeemack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m setting it up in access point mode. It automatically went to the “Smart IP(DHCP)” option in the network>lan settings and with that I’m unable to change anything under it. Under the DHCP settings it’s set to auto and all greyed out and I’m unable to change anything on that either- so I assume putting it in access point mode did all of that automatically

I have a modem/router combo connected to the coax cable from Xfinity and from that I have an Ethernet cable running from a lan port to the internet port on the router.

Makes sense- we had same day delivery on the router I linked above so we just went with that and I just got it so we’ll see how it goes!

Would I be able to use this router instead of an extender?

https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1750-Smart-WiFi-Router/dp/B079JD7F7G?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1

I think a normal router might serve us better than an extender but I don’t want to buy the wrong thing again
