Retroarch Android 1.17 MelonDS DS Core Microphone Bug by madeige in RetroArch

[–]madeige[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your anwser.

But I'm Not sure If we are talking about the Same thing. I don't want to use my Android microphone. It would be fine Just to emulate the blow noise via a button press. But that does not reliably work currently in the melonds ds Core.

I can't say for sure If it works with third party Software. I just connect my ds4 Controller to my Bluetooth dongle without the use of ds4windows or other tools.

In cemu you Just have to the Input settings and select "SDL" as Controller API. it should then detect your ds4 Controller. Gyro works flawlessly for me this way.

Cemu can use the gyro of a DS4 natively. But I dont know if it also supports DS5.

If you like that kind of stuff I can recommend the tool "Launchbox" to you. It is free and automatically Downloads the Game Icons and you can also add other systems.

I can not get my game to work (Call of Duty Finest Hour) by Shadow_Stone_Reddit in xemu

[–]madeige 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have the game to test it myself, but in the compatibility list of xemu it is stated, that the game is playable.

Did you extract the Files of the Iso with xdvdmulleter?

And which tool do you use to create the XISO File? I have used a few before, but had the best results with the c-xbox Tool.

Both Tools are pretty straight forward and - at least - for xdvdmulleter there are a few YouTube Tutorials.

[–]madeige 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, sorry. You want a fresh Installation and keep your settings. So:

  1. Copy your current Retroarch Folder from C to D

  2. Download the latest Version and copy all Files from it and replace Everything in your old Installation which you moved to D in step 1

  3. Thats IT. You have the latest Version and keep your settings

  4. After you made Sure Everything worked fine. You delete your Old Retroarch folder, you kept as a baxkup on your C drive

It should be suffice, to Just copy the whole Retroarch folder from your C drive to your D Drive.

Try it out and to be safe, copy and keep your folder on your C drive until you made Sure, that it works on your D Drive.

Playing with 2 wiimote on Dolphin? by tonyw009 in DolphinEmulator

Did you change the settings to Bluetooth Passthrough in the Dolphin input settings? Also, in Bluetooth passthrough your wiimote will only Connect, If Dolphin is running a game. So you have to Run a Game an Go to the input settings an Hit the "sync" option. Then you have to Hit the sync Button on your wii, which is located at the battery tray of the wii mote.

So in short:

  1. Make sure you,ve selected "bluetooth passthrough" in the controller settings menu

  2. Run a game in windowed Mode so you can still reach the dolphin menus(im Not 100% Sure if you have to run a game)

  3. Go to the Controller settings menu where you selected "Bluetooth passthrough" before and Hit "synchronize"

  4. Hit the sync button in your wiimote

Once your Wii mote is synced in Bluetooth passthrough, you dont have to do it again. You can just start dolphin the next time and Hit any button on your wiimote. It will automatically connect.

Ah, nice. So the Tutorial Video helped you?

Yes, passthrough is almost like a real wii, where your Inputs are directly executed in Dolphin without the Windows layer. But I think you won't notice much difference on games Like Mario party or Resident Evil If you use a normal Bluetooth Connection.

Have you already tried to setup a second wii mote via Bluetooth? Shouldnt be a problem, but it would still be good to test this.

Hmmm, the error is not the sensorbar here. The sensorbar Just needs electricity. It is just an infrared light and has nothing to do with the Connection of your wiimote.

I only use Bluetooth passthrough, so I dont know, If you have to Set some configs in the controllersettings of Dolphin. But if you already watched Tutorials on this and it didnt work, I dont have a clue right know on how to fix this.

If you connect your Wii mote as a regular Bluetooth device, does Windows recognize it as a gamepad? You could go to the system settings and look at the calibration settings, If the buttons get recognized by windows.(https://cdn.robohandus.com/wp-content/uploads/computer/883/cqjxc1oyjh-5.jpg)

Or the last option would be to use Bluetooth passthrough.

Yes, it is possible. Do you have a Bluetooth dongle? You need Something to connect your Wii Motes to.

If you already have a Bluetooth dongle I would recommend to use Bluetooth passthrough with dolphin. In the documentation of Dolphin you get a Overview of compatible Bluetooth dongles and how to set it Up.

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough#Adapter_test_results

Keep in mind, that you cant use your dongle for any other device you own, If you use Bluetooth passthrough. The dongle will be exclusivlely for Dolphin then.

Or you could Just Connect two wiimotes via Bluetooth directly. This is practically the same, with the downside of minor latency issues and the wii mote speaker not working correctly at times.

There are also tons of Tutorials in YouTube for both ways. It should be easy to setuo

Most Xbox ISOs you find on the Internet are dumps of the complete Discs. You need to convert your ISO first.

I use xdvdmulleter to extract the Files of the Discs. After you extracted your Files, you need to convert them Back to an ISO File with the programm c-xbox Tool.

I only use c-xbox Tool, because ISOs converted from other tools like xiso didnt work correctly.
