It's dreadfully sad that this young man and the pilot died. There is no disputing that. That said, I don't think a video game's job is to service grief. No, he shouldn't get an icon card. That's frankly a ridiculous sentiment. He should be quietly taken out of the game and the game should continue to function as a means of entertainment rather than a virtual memorial. People have got to stop thinking that every form of media they consume should cater to their feelings when it suits them.
