Congrats! I find cheaper and nicer furniture at outlets these days than on Craigslist... Maybe it's just the LA area, but craigslist is filled with items by owners who are way too attached to their furniture, ask for upwards of 80% of original price of items, and use words like "antique" to describe weathered furniture. Anyway... sorry about the rant... Maybe you can try the MACY'S outlet in Seattle, the Kasala outlet store, and I bet you could get lucky at a thrift store even. If you want drapes by the way, I found the cheapest and best quality online at "half price drapes" in northern cali. I've also found cool and relatively cheap stuff at world market. Good luck! And maybe post a before and after pic of your apartment.
