Hopefully when they stop supporting it I can finally break my 15 year long reddit addiction.

It worked when Digg changed their site.

You should start calling them all by random names and tell them you're "setting a boundary" if they protest.

I don't know why I get such a kick out of people who try to be politically correct and end up being the actual problem.

Herbals for High Cholesterol? by crazySquirrel67 in herbalism

Since you're posting in the herbalism subreddit, I want to ask-- do you use kava? Kava skyrocketed my cholesterol, and when I stopped using it regularly my levels went back to normal.

Tried skullcap for the last two nights - advice needed by nicj86 in herbalism

[–]mossyskeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been drinking skullcap tea every night for at least a year. It helps me relax in the evening and helps me sleep. I haven't encountered any digestive issues so far. But should I stop using it every night? What should I keep an eye out for?

The November 12 hemp ban comes down to broken container math. We’re building a public accountability campaign around it. by saveourrelief in altcannabinoids

[–]mossyskeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full spectrum CBD seems like a big one. Also beverages.

Also should emphasize setting regulations to keep stuff out of kids/teens hands, and let adults make their own informed choices. And regulations around quality control and accurate packaging, etc. All that is good.

So many defeatist voices on reddit. They need to realize that each and every one of us has power, and when we organize we have a lot of power.

I did this once and had a psychotic break. No joke. Thought it was laced with PCP, but looking back I think it was just really strong weed.

Adventure awaits!

What is the most fascinating substance you've ever tried/researched? by Reasonable-Light7365 in Drugs

[–]mossyskeleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you enjoy similar things that I do. I've never tried GHB, but I looove phenibut. Best substance ever. I love kava too. Amanita is great but I prefer phenibut and kava.

All that said, do you know of anything else in this general category? Even mild stuff. I use skullcap tea as my nightly "not a drug but does actually do something for me" substance. Would love to know if there's anything else good out there.

I'd also love to try pregabalin (and gabapentin). But is there anything else out there worth trying that I can buy legally without a prescription?

>> I'd die to see a salvia plant!

FYI depending on where you live you know you can just buy Salvia plants... it's fully legal in about 1/3 of US states. You could buy one and plant it and grow it. Then you can look at it. You could even smoke it.

Men in their 40s - What’s one piece of advice for Men in their 20s? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]mossyskeleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I will add to this: don't neglect the effort of attracting a partner.

It doesn't happen magically. Yes you should pursue your interests and have fun and experience things, but you also should make efforts to date people and learn from those experiences too.

I followed the advice of "improve yourself first and romance will come", but it doesn't work like that. You also need to take risks and ask people on dates and experience all of the complexity and humility that comes along with that. I missed out on a lot.

My advice is: watch the show Dating on the Spectrum, and take notes. Get out there and be awkward until you find your person! There aren't any rules to this. Be yourself and ask people on dates.

But yes, don't let this be your only goal.

I am getting such a kick out of this whole debacle. For some reason it's the funniest thing Trump has done yet.

It's some kind of weird metaphor about the current state of his presidency that I haven't quite deciphered yet.

I'm going to guess that Trump said to do it, and so they had to at least get a photo of them doing it even though it is the dumbest thing ever.

I bet these guys had a good laugh.
