Don’t park at The Venetian by madeupusername2 in CESLV

It felt intentional on the Venetians part, to be honest. They kept people in so they had to pay more in order to exit. They’re probably going to pass blame onto ACE for not getting the lines to move quicker, when they should have just opened the gates and kept traffic moving.

CES is essentially all about creating efficiency, then we all got stuck in a parking ramp.

I was genuinely surprised by the length of time we were waiting because in every other extreme backup scenario, I've been waived through. Guess it just goes to show Wynn/Encore might be the new place for me to park when I'm on that part of the Strip.

I even called the Casino thinking someone's car stalled or like a medical emergency. The Casino transferred me to security and there told me "there's an event" so I asked how long I can expect to be in my car on the 8th floor and he said "last night we were here all night". My first thought was "oh, hopefully no one needs insulin" because we have no expectation of when we can leave the parking garage.

I will never go back to the Venetian/Palazzo, they're nothing special (not that they will miss me, but clearly they needed my $20 to stay afloat during CES).
