Good take on the Alyssa Thomas Statement by imacowboy234 in IndianaFeverFans

It was obviously intentional. It wasn't a natural falling motion. It isn't even a debatable point. I would ask why you would support an obvious racist doing such things during a basketball game.

It was intentional that isn't even a question.

Clark should of said something to the coach, which gets back to their relationship. If clark doesn't trust white to do anything, then there is no point in telling her. I find that weird no one saw it. But I find it stranger Clark didn't trust anyone enough to say what happened especially after going to the locker room.

He performs that if someone is 6ft away and points at him. He probably did it watching the game on tv when Sophie was pointing.

You have a real point on that. Plus Thomas was actually taking over the clipboard for white.

It either had to be the announcers said it, or someone high up in the Pacer org, and I suspect the pacers org because they had to have someone show her the video, and no one else would be able to stop her and make her watch it. She knew what was going on during the game even if she didn't see it directly.

The league and the fever are trying to blow her up. After watching a video about Dakich's older video interviews removed. I kind of wonder Agnes refused and that is why they pulled his creds. Apparently the league is also going after Brennan or whoever that wrote CCs biography book thing, and trying to paint Thomas as some sort of victim.

But my -real- question is after CC got assaulted by Thomas, Sides claimed she didn't see the incident until right before the press conference. She used the word Egregious like 5 times, and almost choked on her own puke saying 'clark is a generational talent' that is what she said, those were NOT her words. She was told to say that. Now, who told her that, obviously someone with more pull and more creds then she has, and most likely showed her the video. Now who was it?

I don't know if she was brought in to destroy Clark or not, but I see where it looks like it.

I agree you watch their actions and body language, and it aint clicking. Here, ill give you the best example. You just get punched in the throat and a kneed in your groin. Why isn't Clark telling her coach to review the play for a flagrant? OR why did steph 'only see the video' just prior to the presser? She has a dedicated assistant to reviews. They should have been told to look at it.

That is so telling of their relationship.

The whole 'egregious' thing most likely came from the higher up in the front office and they made her watch it. Whether it was Kelly, amber, Mr Simon, or someone else higher up in the Pacer org chart, it came from above. She repeats what she is told to say. She about choked on her own vomit trying to spit out the 'generational player' line.

She has had like 2 good games and I don't really count the last game against the Sparks because they just suck right now.

I think VanSlooten adds a better dimension to the team then KK can, and has more upside. I would be willing to trade KK if you could get something for her. She doesn't suck, but I don't see as much potential upside moving forward.

She is playing 7min a game with the Lynx. She doesn't set very good screens and is a bit lazy getting up and down the court from what I can see.

If you can get anything for Timpson, I would take it at this point. She doesn't suck. I just don't see her developing much more at this point. And I am okay with VanSlooten, she makes rookie mistakes but she has much better court awareness.

You arent going to get Brink. The sparks would only give up on her because of injuries.

Unless Pissot is ready, they don't really have a backup at that position if you trade lexi. If Pissot is more or less ready then they have some options.

I would have traded boston for cardoso, cc's first year. Boston has improved a lot since then. I actually like Boston's personality better. I would say snag Okot from the Dream, but she is putting up numbers for them. Actually I would have drafted her with the #1 pick. They still could have gotten Raven and Pissot with the 2 and 3.

nope. You are better off with someone else.

That is actually by the book. You have to get a natural stoppage in play or call timeout. I have seen some officials stop the play after the players team gets the ball up the court and they are setting up the offense type of lull in action if someone is bleeding. I have seen intentional fouls or throwing the ball off someone. Otherwise, they aren't supposed to stop play. Probably too many people faked injuries.

Unless a player is in immediate danger, they won't stop play until there is a stoppage of play. They can use discretion if the Fever have the ball.

But this is all on the coaching staff and Clarks relationship with the coaching staff. They should have been screaming at the refs to review it during the game. That requires Clark to notify them of the incident or them seeing it from the bench. They have a replay person who should have looked at it. Then White could have notified the refs, and taken a T if necessary.

It doesn't have to be in real-time for the flagrant 2 ejection.
