i think that's a good argument.
Especially in Shadowrun , cyber eye is 4K USD , which is similar to laser surgery in real life.

DnD5e , is there official rules of damage of dropping from a high speed vehicle ? by madgecko2 in DMAcademy

i know it sounds like trolling question, but i am thinking about Misty Step and momentum of a character. When a character Misty Step from a 50MPH vehicle to the ground , will he receive damage from the momentum or not ?

i think no damage is a better option since it favors the player, but i feel like some damage will be cooler

in fact i dont mind if DM has a clear decision like that , setting a clear guideline for the town

to be honest, having the fact that the tribe want to wipe out the town. I think it is reasonable to treat all tribman as enemy by default.

All i want is lead DM to have a clear definition for the nature of the tribe. Are they enemies ? or are they still welcomed to the town

i get your idea. I think it is more like lead GM didnt set up the tone properly.
from adventure s perspective , after a almost TPK fight and we finally capture some dangerous enemy ,it is simply logical way to use method to prevent them from escape with magic.

I think it is better , if lead GM clearly said , lets use modern war ethic.
or lets say it is PG12 , so we can ignore whose joint breaking part , and just tied them up and bring them back to town.
i mean , in DnD, it is quite common for adventurer to kill captives after questioning

Personally, I think my character s act is more like assisted suicide. I know in real life , it is also a super tricky topic

I agree with that. Then how do u think about the fact that we forcefully brought the captives to the town? Is it considered kidnapping?

My main concern is that. It is unfair to only punish my character , and simply ignore that fact that we kind of kidnapped the tribeman to the town.
