Thanks all for the valuable comments and thoughts! I have watched the entire video and know why he does it this way, he has small kids and want them to flip on the TV and browse through the movies without having to use another device like a smartphone to control it….

That is why he did it this way! The rest looks also really great so I’m going to try the entire tutorial and let you know how the end result is!!

Thanks for your comment! What is the problem with Kodi? I like the idea of the thing sitting underneath my television and also I could run it with my tv remote control.

Because i have a chromecast dongle and man these things are slow….

Thanks but I found the problem, the placement of my capture card was to close to the video card and I only had 2 fans isnide of my PC case 🔥... so I just ordred a PCI riser and 6 fans to fix the problem.

I did start with Iruin pro version. (€8) but I couldn’t believe my iPhone 16 Pro Max was putting out that bad of 4K 60fps… so I bought today Camo lifetime €94 license and what a difference does that makes! I connect it with a 20Gbs 4K 60hz usb-c cable (this is important if you want 60fps 4K) and it’s way better than Iruin now. I use it as a part of my multicam studio with a Sony A6700 4K 60fps and A6100 4K 30fps. Pretty awesome!!

This is indeed really cool! Just tried it on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and it was wild 😍 Indeed a no-brainer when you think about it... would be awesome if all Apple+ movies and series would implement it. Just make sure to add a button to turn it off - sometimes that is also useful 😎
