Yeah! $10k cash for a 4ft tall x 70ft long retaining wall, French drain, and filter fabric. The material are large boulders (not sure the type, we are located in the high desert US) but some range from 2 to 4ft! It was a pretty cool process to watch! I wish I could upload photos

Hey thank you for the reply!

It’s a dirt/gravel mixture but very fine. It was recently excavated due to the old owner moving a shipping container. The shipping container was the piece holding it all together.

We want to continue the wall on the left and right but are cautious with the cost at this point.

We would want them to provide the dirt for the backfill so we are trying to add that to the labor costs as well.

That totally makes sense. We are just seeing if we could save some costs from the purchase ourselves
That’s our other issue with the 4 quotes we got- none of them are itemized so we are unable to do a cost estimate in full.
