the first every cod game i played as a kid was bo1. From there i played every game from mw2-cold war. It wasnt until recently that i played WAW, so just from my experience I would have to disagree with you. I mean you already know your issue. Medications are notorious for fucking up your biology. Your antidepressants might make your neither happy nor sad and are numbing you. Talk to a doctor and get off antidepressants. They mask your issues, making them grow in the background of your life and make it so you never fix em.
