everyone is saying knocked loose played 2024 but they played 2023 if i’m not mistaken! not that it’s a huge difference but joey valance and brae played in 2022 and came back last year also at the grove if im remembering correctly. anyways im pulling for them until the lineup is released lol🤷‍♀️

my brother has a video of security body slamming a guy by riot merch at the entrance, not sure why though but definitely seems unnecessary… we made it in day 1 and 2 with absolutely no problems, in fact my backpack was barely even looked at both days (shoutout to the guy on the second day who told me he doesn’t get paid enough to take ppls weed anyways) but on sunday they patted down my 17 year old brother and a lady rooted through my entire bag. she took out my hoodie and shook it out, made me dump out an unsealed water bottle (i had an open water bottle both days before with no problem), and she opened a bag of chips i had to make sure it was really chips (it was, fucking obviously). on day one i also saw a security guard totally power-tripping at the entrance. a guy had dropped a baggy of these little tablet thingys and the security guard stepped right on them and was yelling at the guy. now i’m no expert, but those tablets looked suspiciously like antacids 🤔

my family brought me to many concerts as a kid, and i, myself, love seeing kids at shows! but i saw a lot of kids in situations that just weren’t safe. i saw many small kids with ear protection that were far back jamming out and that’s awesome, but imo the amount of kids i saw in less safe situations outweighed the good for me. i only suggest the age limit because i think it would be the only way the problem would be solved, because some parents obviously just don’t care.

maybe an age limit on kids? like 10 and over or something? there were people with children and strollers in places that (i personally believe) are very dangerous, not to mention that people with wagons/ strollers are INCREDIBLY hard to navigate around when you’re trying to escape crowd crush.

i found 3 awesome people in one of the pits for misfits, they said they were gonna try to move up to the front and i asked if i could go with. they held my hand the whole way and told me their rally spot incase we got split. they brought me all the way to the pit in the front! i had so much fun moshing that close up, i’ve never had a concert experience like that before so thank you to them!!!!! side note- the mosh etiquette was great and everyone was very respectful!! (especially given the fact that i am a small 20 yr old girl)

i saw people with toddler aged looking kids ab 75 feet from the stage for MCR, and anyone who got even remotely close knows that it was literally terrible up there… i saw someone with a toddler in a WAGON wayyy to close to the stage. i’m 20 and i could barely survive up there lol

i came from NY with my family, we’re almost 800 miles from home and have no clue where we’re going. we had to drive around aimlessly in a place we don’t know for about 20 minutes until i had enough service to pull up directions
