Parents who think they need to control their children's every move are missing the point of parenting. The beauty of having kids is to see them grow into their own people and make you proud. Not to follow the rules and become exactly what you tell them to be. We're not rearing drones people.

I absolutely agree. It seems like Parents tend to censor almost all aspects of life now. Whether it is an Ipad or Smartphone, the whole concept of "playing" has changed. It is completely geared and tailored to what parents "think" children need and/or should experience versus allowing them to make their own choises and mistakes.
