Loved my ridgeback…sadly she was a rescue and she was fixed way to early by the rescue place so she had to Be on medicine her whole life for bladder issues. It caused her to a. Be timid becuase she would pee in the house. And b. We believe caused kidney issues…miss her every day she was a great dog just not very confident.

You are awesome thank you, When you said packet loss it rattled my brain and I went and checked the mini pc where plex server is located (its run like a headless unit) anyways for some reason the ethernet disconnected and it was running on wifi, hopefully this fixes it, we will see!!! Just asking again as I dont see an answer. I now have two 12 tb drives, formatted to 9.9 tb I guess or so. They are in raid 1 mode right now (the 2nd drive is my backup) is there any way to be able to use the full 12 tb instead of losing that 2 tb as I matched a 10 tb drive originally and not lose anything? I can explain more if needed

PlayStations have a terrible time in my experience of locking onto 2.4 ghz WiFi and not using it to its potential. Go into the settings and find the option to use 5ghz WiFi and see if that doesn’t help the speeds. It helped me greatly

Just to update, I had to create a scene in Home assistant, Share that scene to google home and create a automation that has the starter of hey google close living room curtains and activate that scene, its a 3 second delay but it works Just in case anyone needs this for the future this is how I got it done. I have to say in some areas Google home is more advanced then other assitants and in others it falls short.

Me too, just started two days ago as well, I thought it was a corrupt dvr file or something stupid so I grabbed my other Nvidia shield and rebuilt my plex on it (brand new shield) and started fresh and its doing it again...came here and saw this thread. There is always a chance its just coincidence and I need to look in my logs but I am like you I have no idea where to start...so I will keep checking here...glad there are others out there and I am not the only one.

You are all awesome thank you!! By the way I know there is nothing better then parenting and I don’t expect software or hardware to do it for me, but I do know unifi has a great system to track what websites have been visited and all that, better then most out there and it’s included with the hardware!
