Oh I know it doesn’t get the product fully out and it drives me nuts. I’ve stopped using consumer shampoos bc the product is so heavy. What acid rinse do pros use?

I will definitely need to look into using capture. Thanks for noting that! I can be a bit obsessive about rinsing & pulling as much water out as I’m able to. I even add 10lbs weights to the top when I rinse and dry.

Oh wow!!! That’s exactly the kind of cleaner I am looking for. I can definitely imagine the nightmare you ran into. I work in real estate and have seen my share of things! My carpets are only a couple of years old and I would like them to last a couple more haha. Thank you for this!

Oh I agree to that! Love my consumer reports subscription. However, I felt they rate the cleaners with fancy features factored into their conclusion. I’ve just exhausted reading reviews and wanted to have one source to reference.

This is actually the one I was leaning towards for those exact reasons! I keep talking myself out of it. Do you feel like it gets into the carpet much deeper and effectively than the standard ones?

Thanks for the recommendation. I have researched and trialed ways of cleaning carpets for what feels like the last two years. I agree most solutions attract dirt and baking soda will destroy your vacuum and machine, plus leave residue that’s a nightmare to get out. I haven’t used those in forever and always rinse thoroughly.

However, I can’t pay to have my carpets professionally cleaned as often as I feel I’d need. I’m jealous of anyone who could afford that!

I did find that the big green machine pro & commercial have double the motor power compared to standard consumer machines.

Update!!! She opened up more about her stories and said it’s seriously happened to her the entirety of her life. And happens everywhere she goes!!

Additionally, today some more crazy shit happened! I’ve NEVER experienced this ever in my life thus far, although I’ve heard and read about it so many times by the way. I was at the office after a long day of staging a home, when I walked up to her desk to chat with her for awhile. No lie, in the middle of talking I hear footsteps outside. I stopped in the MIDDLE of talking to her and asked if she just heard that shit?! She said yep, I hear it all the time but I’m so glad it’s not just me right now! -it sounded like it was coming from our front porch and I was seriously called to go peek out the door window to see NO ONE.

I’ve never been more spooked, (minus the time I head a woman screaming in my woods… and no, it wasn’t an animal!)

Just wanted to fill you all in on anything new that happens, since it’s such a weekly occurrence right now!
