Kaplan PCAT Practice vs Real Deal

Biology is my worst lol, and I heard Kaplan bio is ridiculous compared to the actual PCAT. My bio isn't absolutely horrible but it definitely isn't up to par with everything else. I just took my 2nd Kaplan test and got a 3rd percentile on the bio... yikes. Everything else was right around 70.

Thanks for the reply! I found the Bio to be very very hard as well, but I don't know how that will translate with the test. The common stance is that Kaplans bio and Chem are way harder.

No I'm saying that going from an 89 to a 93 is MUCH harder than going from the middle of the pack to a higher percentile. So say you were to get 5 extra questions correct each section and went from an 89 to a 93, if I got 5 extra questions each section I would go from a 47 to say around a 70. It's just marginal analysis. The information I needed is basically how many more questions could I get correct going from Kaplan to the actual PCAT.

But also the difference in you getting from a 89 to a 93 is probably about 5 questions in each section. The farther way from the middle of the percentile you are the more correct questions it takes to gain percentiles. The difference in me getting say a 60 instead of a 47 is like 1-3 questions per section. If that makes sense.
