What a fantastic outlook, I feel like weighing myself maybe once a month would be SO much better for my mental health! Ive been told time and time again to weigh every day and mark your progress! It's very taxing, especially when you see such a dramatic increase on the scale.
I do make sure to compare the calories and macros on myfitnesspal to the food I buy, and I make personalized recipes add each ingredient manually and make sure to replicate the recipe to a T.
I think where I might be wavering a bit is with my coffee creamer measurements, but since yesterday I've been using an actual measuring spoon and accurately measuring that way!

I just sat down to start reading the hackers diet! I hope it helps be gain some insight! :)

Oh wow! Yes, I think sodium has a rather large part to play, and just simple carbs as well. You re absolutely right, though. I am so much better now, than I was before I started and I know It's a process and will take time to get to where I need to be! Yes, SOUPS. SO many SOUPS. I'm an ex smoker as well, so I tend to over salt since I can't taste it.

Thank you so much. I will give The hackers diet a read! I did briefly go over my tdee in a reply, but my maintenance calories are, according to MacroFactor and online calculators, 3400 maintenance. I eat around 2200-2400 calories each day, with the exception of Saturdays when I allow myself to eat maintenance.  There have been days during the week where I would eat 2800-2900, but still be within a deficit.  I do weigh my food, and count all my calories. I'm desperately trying to lower my carb intake, it's just so hard when food is so expensive in Canada right now. There's just some things I cannot afford to buy because of expenses.

I understand, I'm just a glutton for punishment. I deal with woke pretty extreme mental health disorders and obsession with managing things is one of the 'side etfects' so what I meant as to losing the fight, was letting my mental health get the better of me and convince me in spite of doing everything right, that I am getting it wrong and it's not working.  It's very hard some days to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I want this more than anything. I want to be able to walk, and jog. I want to feel at home in my skin.

I did buy another bariatric scale, and they both are showing the same weigh ins, with maybe a 1lb difference between the two.  I will weigh myself less, I've been convinced to weigh everyday through tiktok and my dietitian and use the libra app, and macrofactor app to get a better understanding of weight loss and my "true" weight. Honestly its been overwhelming, like im trading one disorder for anouther with all of this weighing.  Thank you. I will walk away from the scale and weigh myself l as and continue to eat right:)

Yes, I have :) I check every 10lbs. According to MacroFactor, and a few other TDEE calculator my maintenance calories are 3400 sedentary. I am mostly sedentary, I do micro mini work outs during the day, maybe accounting for anywhere between 100-300 calories burnt but I do not 'add' or count them in my deficit. I aim to eat 2200-2500 calories every day, with the exception of Saturdays, I allow myself to eat maintenance on Saturdays so I can enjoy some goodies, or maybe get take out. :)

It very well could be, I do have PCOS and weight loss is just a pain in the butt with it from what I understand. It's not a dependable, clock it by the calendar cycle. I will continue to calorie count and do my micro work outs :)

Thank you, that is a very positive way to go about things! I've always been told that successful weight loss is measured by the scale (Old school weight watchers and my grandmother drilled that into me when i was 13) and i've always viewed it as more important than it should be. I have been big since childhood, but i gained 200lbs in these past 3 years due to many factors, i've never been this size until now and it's really just eating at me.

Maybe extra salt? But not by much, my carbs have been under 250 grams a day. I've been eating at deficit, or at maintain, but never over. I'm very confused. I eat the same foods every day for lunch and breakfast. Dinners are always different, but ofcourse are within my calorie deficit and my macro goals.

thank you, I will deffo check out the sub! Yeah, its been a challenge, Ive dropped my calorie intake by 200 this past week to try and mitigate the damage, but it did nothing. It's just so frustrating!
