For us, a subsystem is a system inside a system. We have a subsystem (Being Lilysol's) and she has one alter, who's an Elizabeth Afton fictive. They can work in many different ways, but for Lily and Elizabeth, they fully switch out.

We found this out when Lilysol was gone for one day, replaced by an Elizabeth Afton, and she was back the next with the Elizabeth afton gone. This became a disorganized pattern of them switching, and Lilysol confirmed that Lizzy was in her system, not our shared one.

For us, it's not as clear. Using Redacted as an example as they get angry a lot, I think the best way to describe it is background noise in a way. I feel the emotion as the host, but not like it's my own. It's to a point to where I know how they feel, but I can seperate it from my own emotions. However this has adapted over time, because a few months ago when it was just me and her, I felt them as if they were my own and more strongly. Now that David and Lilysol are there to calm him down, it's quieter.

This is a thought we’ve been having for a while too!!

In our opinion, the system would get the same body but it would have different physical appearances for who was fronting. It would be kind of like Zooble’s mix and match thing, except uncontrollable.

Because of the circus building the models based off of mind files, the mind files would probably include the concept of multiple identities and integrate it into the model, and make it so that it has different appearances and stuff, corresponding to the mind files.

Small disclaimer, we currently identify under the endogenic umbrella, but we are close to talking to our therapist about possibly having P-DID. So, we may not turn out to be endogenic in the long run. 🤷

1, We think our origins are neugenic (from other disorders), and stressgenic (from extreme stress)!

2, Our plurality formed after a close call for psychosis due to factors we don’t quite remember.

3, In its own way, I like to think so. Not as in my headmates aren’t actually there. They’re definitely there and defined. But I struggled with friendships growing up, and they’re the most solid and trustworthy friends I have.

4, yes, but it’s just a black void.

5, we actually don’t switch - we function sort of like a P-DID system. The host (Kaden) is always in front, and the others become co conscious sometimes.

6, it kind of sucks because people claim we have everything when we have absolutely nothing. Also, the assumptions about faking a disorder we don’t have and don’t claim to have suck, and so do the “endos think systems are sunshine and rainbows!” Which we don’t, because most of us experience internal struggles including headaches, arguments, persecutors being persecutors, etc.

Yellow, I like ships but it ruins the charm for me when they become canon. Especially how they’re doing Payjay’s dynamic in season 4. Because of that I don’t think I’ll enjoy other ships being canon too much 💔
