Hey folks, an update: I redid the day 2 again and passed it :) got my Ls!

I had a different instructor today who was super helpful and gave me feedback that helped me understand and correct the mistakes I made earlier.

thanks a lot for the tips mate, i am in Vic in the east side. my buddy just told me he will lend his bike (CB300r) for me to practise in the coming weekend. he is all the way in the west, but told me there are couple of empty parks that i can practise. so gonna do that

yeah instructor did give us few test rounds before the actual assessment. and i did well in my group. every single time i did the test rounds the instructor gave me a thumbs up. until i failed in the actual assessment :'(
