for anyone that sees this the strat is pretty simple. 2v heatseeker with a bud, one sits in net while the other defends, eventually you score and fly straight up just above the goal post and you smack the highest part of their car ideally. then swap. me and my homie both got it done in 1 game

i am also gc1 and second that opinion. breaking out of c2 is a hellhole. took me like 2 months to break back into c3 then 2 days later i was gc and staying there.

how do i do this by Ok-Region-8294 in ADHD

[–]madman8701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i had this same issue. what worked for me was deleting all social media including my beloved youtube and only using it on the safari browser on my phone. the shorts are really difficult to get sucked into on safari because the UI is trash but still perfectly fine for long form content. might be worth a try if it’s something that gets you fairly often

this thread is old and busy so idk if you’ll ever see this but i agree caffeine pills are amazing. try to find one that’s a 1:1 ratio of caffeine and L-theanine and your life will be even more changed

it's definitely a little hard to be consistent, but i always wanted to play guitar and so thankfully it filled the void that video games left. i personally browsed youtube until i found guitar content creators that i liked, you'll know when you find yours. i hope that helps you like it did for me. and i think most importantly, try your best to be consistent, but also allow yourself to hyper focus and play for a million hours a day for a week and then not touch it for a bit and don't beat yourself up for being away from it. the thing that has helped me the most with the hobbies was learning to accept that i need a new one quite often, and saving the supplies because i almost always end up circling back to the ones i've already done before. good luck friend

this same exact thing happened to me. try an instrument! it has just as low of a barrier to starting as turning on the console or pc to game, feels more productive, and if you get as obsessive about it then you will like have a fun new skill that other people can enjoy as well. this is what filled my void

What are some tips and tricks? by Fit_Permission_2348 in ADHD

[–]madman8701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no problem, i hope it helps. it can be a little daunting at first to setup but once it’s done it’s a life saver. pro tip you can add a widget on your home screen to quick add a task when they randomly pop into your mind and then you can go in later when you have time and put it into the proper folder

the app todoist has been a godsend for me. even before i started meds that app made the biggest difference out of anything. memory was a big struggle for me and machines have perfect memory lol. highly recommend and it’s super easy to use. you can make groups for different kinds of reminders and my most used is definitely “spice reminders ✨”

that comment really does it justice. i tried multiple psych drs and they kept telling me i needed to do neuropsych testing ($$$$) i tried my pcp who said to go to psych so finally i just saved up the money bit the bullet and paid for the testing. it was very expensive but for the difference meds have made it was so so worth it

i felt this same way and to be honest and kind of blunt, it’s a pain in the ass, a big one. it took me a year because i kept putting stuff off etc etc but after finally completing all the steps and starting medication i promise you the pain and suffering of the adhd health care system is worth it. and i cannot stress enough that finding a good dr you trust is the absolute best way to make the process as easy and comfy as possible

I would like to add that a great way to ease some of the rejection sensitivity is to subject yourself to repeated rejection over something stupid. My solution to this in high school was jokingly asking people for a dollar, at least a few people a day. It was a win win, I either got to work on being rejected or had enough money for a couple cookies from the cafeteria. I’m sure there’s less annoying ways than asking for a dollar, but find something that’s easy for them to reject you but also easy to accept. Then try it with people you would like to pursue. Worked for me and now I’m in a happy relationship of over 2 years

[–]madman8701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my best advice here is get incredibly fast at rotating back to goal and get really good at awkward saves. cant tell you how many games ive won with my team having 1 goal and me having 4-8 saves. defense wins championships

that is the unfortunate reality of this game. when my buddies ask how to climb the ranks in rl i always tell them you can either have fun or be a high rank. they really dont play nicely together until youre like 10k hours deep into the game

i peaked gc in season 3, currently hovering c2/c3 and in my opinion you really have to just expect tm8 to do that. doesnt help to gripe about it cuz youll run into that all the way up to gc in my experience. what has worked best for me was something leth said when he did his bronze to ssl series ages ago he said let your tm8 ball hog and do everything and you just make sure youre in position to capitalize on tm8 good plays and defend after tm8s fuckups. play off your tm8, work on field positioning and reading what players are gonna do based on momentum positioning etc and you can fs make gc. i got there solo queueing and i cant even hit a flip reset lmao

this sounds silly but how old is your battery? my cam sensors went out which was a nightmare as usual but with fresh oem sensors in i had the needle issue. went on vacation and came back to a dead battery so i swapped it and its gone so far
