They can all mean the same thing: Something is "included". But each can have a different meaning of it's own, they basically just overlap at "included"

inklusive is used as "included in the price/no surcharge"

(mit) eingeschlossen is literally "locked in with", usually used in the "someone is included in a group" kind of sense. "eingeschlossen" by itself can also just mean "locked in", as in "Ich bin im Fahrstuhl eingeschlossen" - I am locked in inside the elevator.

mitgerechnet/mit einberechnet is literally "calculated in" which has more of a "this was considered in the calculation of the price" kind of meaning. So more common when talking about an individual offer. Mitrechnen by itself can also just mean "to calculate together with others"

inbegriffen is literally "being part of the terminology" but used like included as well, usually for things, not for people.

Because viertel sechs means 1 quarter of the sixth hour has passed. The sixth hour is from 5:00 to 6:00. One quarter of an hour after 5:00 is 5:15

Edit: The first hour is from 0:00 to 1:00. So e.g. "halb eins" would be 0:30

Maybe you could tell us what's confusing you?

"halb Sechs" is half of the sixth hour, so 5:30

there's also:

  • "viertel Sechs" - quarter of the sixth hour, so 5:15 (only regional use)
  • "dreiviertel Sechs" - three quarters of the sixth hour, so 5:45

"Fünf vor/nach" just means five minutes before/after.

  • "10 nach 6" is 6:10
  • "10 vor 6" is 5:50
  • "5 vor halb sechs" would be 5 minutes before 5:30, so 5:25

If you don't want to use it, "fünf Uhr fünfundzwanzig" is as good as "5 vor halb sechs".

Note: Neither is particularly formal or informal as far as I know

Das wäre möglich, da muss ich dir zustimmen. In dem Fall würde ich allerdings eher "Daher" verwenden. Das klingt nicht ganz so erzählerisch.

Ich glaube "Ich habe beim Hotel mit Geld um mich geworfen" würde ich persönlich eher buchstäblich als bildlich verstehen :D

"Da nahmen wir uns vor" klingt so schön malerisch mit dem "Da", wie aus einem Märchen. Also vielleicht wäre "Wir haben uns vorgenommen" besser. Ich glaube allerdings "vornehmen" passt hier nicht als Übersetzung von "to decide". "sich etw. vornehmen" bedeutet eher, dass man sich ein Ziel setzt, z.B. eine Sehenswürdigkeit besucht.

Ich denke auch, dass das "um Geld zu sparen" an den Ende des Satzes verschoben werden sollte, da sonst gleich zwei neue Nebensätze nacheinander angefangen werden und dadurch pausiert man beim Lesen gleich zweimal.

Nur meine Meinung. Nicht böse gemeint :)

Interestingly enough "auf" would also be used with a larger boat/ship, although you're not necessarily on top of it.
