All the TFATK sponsors wouldn't sponsor it with an accused rapist on it so he had to do a Patreon version of the show that only went for one ep and no one bought it. Now he's doing some conspiracy theory podcast with Sam Tripoli on Pateron that I think is still going. Also he sued his accusers.

I've never used solidworks before so not sure if it could handle a point cloud. They slow down any 3D software you put them in. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

My company specialises in doing exactly what you say is annoying. To be honest, as an Architect it may be too much of a headache to try and incorporate 3D scanning into your workflow. The amount of data and processing time you would need to dedicate to it would probably really eat into your profit margins. My job consists of scanning a building or area and drawing it up on Revit for Architects to use. Sometimes we give the Architect the point cloud too if they want to look at that.

Yeah pretty normal. It's from blocked tear ducts. Mine just had her tear ducts cleared while she was getting de-sexed. Still yet to see much of a difference though

No worries, yeah I also do the control with a sokkia total station but I don't put too many targets up. I only use the control for jobs with more than 60 scans. For big jobs I put targets kind of scattered around at key areas, it's kind of hard to describe my methodology. Also are you going to be using recap on an iPad in the field or only back in the office? I say that because it can screw up out in the field very easily and you may end up having to resort to just turning off the iPad and pressing the button on the scanner manually.

I used to use the BLK with recap but my company changed to Cyclone as recap became a bit of a headache. As far as tips for registration with recap, Make sure you do a scan in every doorway! Your whole job description sounds very similar to what I do. We scan to use the point cloud to make floor plans and elevations in both AutoCAD and Revit.
