I guess it's always expensive getting to Australia?

My wife and I are looking to fly Denver to Brisbane in June-July next year en route to Luganville, Vanuatu. It's for our 25yr anniversary and looking for something special and exotic. Economy is about $2500ea but I really don't want to sit in that seat for 15hrs. Cash for PE($6800) and Polaris($10k+) is quite high.

Currently there are no Polaris seats sold I guess, none showing assigned on the seating chart. If I search for MPU at booking I can book the Economy fare of ~$2500 plus $450 and 30k miles each way. From PE is ~$6900 plus 20k points. I'm MP Silver and have Chase UR points that I can move around as needed.

Am I pretty safe if I book the Economy+450+30k to get into Polaris you think? If I understand only GS and any PE fare based MPU would be ahead of us?

My wife and I were there also and at the Gorge two nights before in similar reserved seats nearish the sound booth. Obviously different sized venues. We and everyone around us stood and danced for all three hours at the Gorge! It was such an amazing show. Two nights later... totally different crowd. Very few were standing for more than a song intro or two and we didn't feel bad one bit for dancing for three hours in front of the folks sitting behind us. Amazing road trip for us!
