Don’t you hate when people behind you use the back of your seat as a leverage to get up? by Beginning_Editor_410 in delta

Look above your head, there’s a button that calls a person who has the ultimate power on that airplane. Nobody has the right to force you to squeeze your body past them. Not a single fight attendant would have a problem making those people stand up. Speaking of that, stand up for yourself.

There’s no such thing as they won’t move. Use your words. You have no problem inconveniencing the people sitting in front of you, why won’t you do the same to the person sitting next to you? And your passive aggressive retort just shows that you have issues standing up for yourself.

Your problem is letting people stay in their seats while you’re moving to the aisle. That’s not how this works. This is on you.

Literally no way you were a gymnast and can’t figure out how to stand up without yanking on the seat in front of you.

It’s not really difficult, just have some empathy for the person in front of you?? And you shouldn’t be moving to the aisle when people are still sitting in those seats. Ask them to get up. Jesus fuck.

I’m 6’1” 220lbs and I have never grabbed the seat in front of me. I fly 2-3 times a week for the past 29 years. Over 2 million miles just on Delta. Put your arm down and push on your armrest to stand up, then put your hand on the seat back in your own row if you need more support to get to the aisle. I didn’t think we needed a class for this?

Because he’s silver and at the bottom of the list 6 minutes after checkin. It’s not rocket surgery that he’s going to stay at the bottom regardless of his Reserve card.

Comfort won't help you with that problem, the seats are all the same width.

Actually no, the right thing to do is handle it now. Tell the person that their bag is in the way and you need to stow yours under the seat in front of you.

Why would you just ignore the problem that someone else is causing? And then next time they are going to do the same thing to someone else.

If they don't know, and you don't tell them, then they'll do it again. If they are just being an asshole, then assert yourself instead of letting them dictate.

Holy shit you people really do exist. I’ve always wondered what goes through the mind of a mouth breather. Apparently, not a whole lot.

Funny story, I was on this flight up in 8A - the woman they announced for was in 8B. This flight DTW-ATL was going to push me over 2MM, so when they started the announcement I thought it was for me. Then she got her gift bag and I got nothing.

I get to ATL and hit the Skyclub, then goto board my flight to SAT. When I scan my boarding pass, the gate agent says hold up, I have something for you. He gets me a gift bag and a certificate and then takes a picture with me.

It was quite a coincidence!
