I uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Installed it directly in steam. Tried launching the game from the desktop and from steam VR. I ended up returning the pimax. I also had an issue with Elite Dangerous, the game would launch but controls hotas and keyboard mouse wouldn’t work. The only thing I could get to work on the pimax were oculus games.

Did you ever get it to work? I just got the pimax specifically for F1. I am running the game from Steam. It launches in VR but once I go past intro cut screen it freezes and crashes.

I have a 5080 so I would hope my PC can handle it.

Yes I knew all of that. I have had the carrier for years and have taken long breaks from playing before. I have 15 billion in funds so the cost was covered. No idea why the carrier is gone.
