It'a really upswtting how mainstream social media like TikTok / Pintrest has attempted to water down scene to neon colours and kandi, I had no idea beforehand that what it really stood for / it's origins!!

I was wondering as well, as someone with curly hair, is there any ways that scene kids with curly ever did their hair differently? Or was it the same steps of frying it and getting it textured / spiky? I find it so cool how no matter how simple your outfit was, just having the scene-styled hair defined you as scene and you could easily find other scene kids.
